  1. I'm looking forward to doing the Panama Canal again on the Infinity next week. Has anyone heard from current passengers about any NoroVirus cases. I'm hoping that it's all wiped out by now.

    Ken,

See you on board! I'll be the one with the stupid grin on my face and a cocktail in my hand (lol). Where's Waldo, right?

  2. I read a recent post that said there is no longer smoking allowed portside on the pool deck. Anyone recently off the Reflection that can verify this? The post said it has been closed because smoke gets trapped under the overhang. Since I am a smoker I find this disturbing since it was the only covered area available for rainy days.

I'm with you Bobbie I'm a smoker too and have been wondering the same thing. Have a great cruise!

  3. Hello we did your exact itinerary last year and loved the ship and crew so much that we booked an Alaska cruise this year 5-15-15 in 38 days but who is counting. Don't have much info on excursions as I did a tequila tasting in mexico but it was only ok. I do have a question for you could you please find out who the Michaels club Concierge is. If you walk and tell them you are asking for a future suite member they won't let you stay but info would be great.

Will be happy to, but I don't get back until the 15th and am not buying the wifi pkg so you won't hear back from me until the morning of the 15th, is that okay? Is that all u need me to ask, who the Concierge is?

  4. Hi my wife and i are travelling on the Panama Canal Cruise 29/03/15 and we have been looking at the excursions, has any body who has been before got any advice or recommendations,we are also very interested in joining up with another couple or small group for private tours.Rick

    Harwell,

What did you think of your cruise? We're sailing 28/4/15.

  5. Thanks everyone for taking the time to respond. I'm a little disappointed that the production shows don't seem to be up to snuff with the "S" class ships, I'm not big on jugglers and would hope on a 17 nite cruise Celebrity could put forth a little more effort in providing top notch entertainment all in the spirit of providing a first class experience for their passengers. We've always found the small bands and DJ's to be really good, but sometimes after a great meal, you'd like to be treated to a great production show. My hubby doesn't take me out much, we're more the stay at home types, so needless to say we were hoping for something that would give us that ahaaaa moment. Back to reruns of Law & Order. See you on board. I'll be the one juggling the bowling pins by the pool and charging 8k for the entertainment.

  6. Thanks everyone for your responses this info. really is helpful. Like everyone cruising, I'm

counting the days and mentally packing. I think QVC might want to rethink it's return policy, they probably know my address my heart, lol. Why do women overthink clothes???

Thanks again you guys are great!

  7. Can anyone please tell me if the A1 staterooms on deck 11 have overhead storage bins above the bed? I'd like to purchase some storage containers if they do. Also, is smoking still allowed in the Sunset Bar port side? I'm afraid to ask about the brunch if it's still on (lol) talk about conflicting responses from Celebrity. - my goodness! Anyway, I'm going on a 17 day thru the Panama Canal in April so I hope they do something special.

    Any help will be appreciated.

  8.

Does anyone else have a problem with that? Every time we walk on a cruise ship the first thing my husband and I do is hunt down the maître D and request a table for 2. I have noticed throughout the cruise the tables near me begin to have missing people and I have often wondered if they didn't like their tablemates and began eating up on the Lido deck.

What happens if you don't like your tablemates and request another table? Then you have to hope you don't bump into them on the ship because that would be awkward.

This is one thing about cruising I think needs to be changed. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Wow! I'm a little surprised at the under tones of sarcasm to your sole question, for what it's worth here goes. We chose select dining for 2 reasons 1) don't know what time we'll be back from shore excursions and 2) and wanted to have a variety of different people, if we so chose, each night or the option to dine alone on those "oh I just want to de-tune after a long day" kind of nights.

My husband and I did share a table on our very first cruise and to this day I think of them all often. So after all this blah, blah, blah, do what's right for you, if your not comfortable dime by yourselves, there's no right or wrong answer. Go and have fun!

  9. Forgive me if we are just dense or somehow out of the loop that other cruisers are in but my husband and I just do not understand what the big deal is about whether or not the officers attend events. I go on a cruise to enjoy my husband and our friend's company. Why is it so important to so many where the officers are, what events they attend and who they speak too? Of course if I should come across them on board I would expect a nod or a hello, but I would expect that from any passenger. Really, I am not trying to be rude but what are we missing?????

I don't think your missing anything, I agree with you completely.

  10. Does anyone know when the dining packages will be posted for 2015? I'm also curious if Celebrity changes the menus in both the MDR and Speciality Dining venues every year. I'm doing the Panama Canal Westbound in April and would like to take a look at changes to both the pricing options and menus. Celebrity did tell me that to dine without the package for any SR it's $45.00, but would not commit to when the days/pricing will be posted. I think my impatience is going to get the best of me :D

  11. I'm new to the forum so if I'm in the wrong forum, be gentle, but give me the boot and redirect me please. I'm sailing on the summit Jan. 25th and have booked 6125. My brother scored 6146. My question(s) is, is it a nice suite, no obstructions of the view, is it a long distance from 6146? Any information at all would be so appreciated.
