  1. I just booked someone on the March 15 sailing in an Inside Guarantee at 399.00 pp plus tax and would you believe they were upgraded to a Balcony.

Anyone on the March 22nd sailing?

    Thanks!

  2. I will be boarding Divina next week (March 15th). If anyone would like to ask a question, I would be more than happy to try and find the answer or take a pic for you while I'm on board. I will post the answers as quickly as possible on my return.

Any photos of the spa area, specifically the steam/sauna/whirlpool and changing rooms would be great...

Thanks and enjoy the trip! I maybe seeing you as you come off the ship on March 22nd! LOL

  3. I booked the classic package and it appears to includes juice but not champagne:(. I guess I will have mix it with sparkling wine :D.

Try vodka!!! I hear it makes the workout easier!

    :D

  4. Okay, I have your answer for you.

The following is The MSC Divina Eastern/Western Caribbean daily schedule for Evening Dress Suggestions.

Night 1: Casual, No Jeans/Shorts in MDR

Night 2: Gala Night, if you wish, Tuxedo, Gown, Suit, Cocktail Dress, Jacket and Tie suggested

Night 3: Italian Night, wear a combination of the Italian Flag, Red White and Green.

Night 4: White Party Night. Wear White. The on deck party is a blast!

Night 5: 60's 70's and 80's disco night. Go for it!

Night 6: The second Gala Night, Jacket and Tie, Cocktail Dress, suggested

Night 7: Casual, it's the pack up and get out of here night.

But always, on every cruise, we wear the most important thing with our cocktails and any beverages:

    Wave your Pinky at NEG-A-TIV-A-TY!

Just made our packing much easier!!! Now for pool/beach attire! LOL

  5. Perhaps a bit different for USA sailings. For Poesia and Divina out of Florida, we pre-ordered drink vouchers through MSC's website, but the cost was added to our ON BOARD account, which was charged to our credit card (that we presented immediately before boarding) after we completed the sailing. The points were credited to our Club card. It would be different if you order your vouchers through a TA.

Thank you Neptuno and Et Al., very helpful information.

  6. You're welcome. You may need to check your account to ensure the correct amount of points are added. It takes MSC a number of weeks to update your records. They only awarded me 8 points for my recent cruise instead of 15! I rang them this morning and they rectified this.

You can visit their website and register your account under the MSC Club heading. Then you can keep an eye on your points total.

    Will be watching...

  7. Every $200 of onboard spending counts as a point on your MSC Club card, which will give you a discount on your next cruise.

Will these point be awarded as well if you pre-paid your spa and drink packages via phone?

  8. Going in a few weeks. Just had a question about spa. I love steam and sauna after working out but can't find any info on steam and sauna in guys locker room. Is there only a co-ed shared or do guys have their own sauna and steam like most ships ???

Sounds like are on the same sailing...

  9. Trying to book a spa package but all they are offering to book online are the Platinum, Diamond Orchid, or Golden Jasmine. I want the Complete Massage Package but it's not an option. Any idea of how to get that one? Thanks.

Call their 866 number at customer service and they will pre-book you and you can pay over the phone. They have the complete spa packages that's not showing online. I just booked my pre-package yesterday. Nikkei at MSC was awesome and most helpful. Good luck!

  10. Just pre-booked my spa packages! Does anyone have any info on the steam/sauna rooms and whirlpool areas please? Photos would be very much appreciated.

I understand that the daily use of the facilities come with any spa package(s) or services.

    Thank you all!

  11. Hi fp60,

The app is web-based and only available onboard, so it does not need to be downloaded. Once onboard, connect to the wifi and open up a new browser and you will be prompted to login.

    Hope this helps!

    MSC-

    Most helpful! Thank you!

  12. AS promised Ive found and created a still image of the large corner balconies

Here is a screen dump from a video which shows the size of the "corner" balconies on the Fantasia class ships

    Skier52-

Thanks for the picture!!! I think I made the right choice going with this cabin/balcony category. Hope to request a lounge chair or two to enjoy balcony while at sea.

    Regards

  13. You are very welcome. Enjoy your cruise. Go to every show. Order the coconut shrimp in the dining room for lunch on a sea day that it is offered. You may not see anything that day for the entree, but order many of these appetizers...simply wonderful.!

OK now I have to try the coconut shrimp... :D

  14. There is a chat feature on the Traveler Web App that allows you to chat and connect with others onboard.

    Hope this helps!

    MSC-

I was trying to download this app on my iPhone but after searching, nothing was found. Is the app only downloadable only while on board the ship?

    Thanks!

  15. Hi liveinns,

As Mattingly23 suggested, we'd recommend using the Web Traveler App. Once onboard, all you need to do is connect to the Wifi and open a new browser window and you will be prompted to login. There is no charge or internet package needed and there is a chat function that will allow you to stay in touch.

    Regards,

I was doing a search on my iPhone for this app and nothing was found.

Is the exact name MSC Divina Traveler Web App?

  16. I read these post and have to laugh,

My motto is, if you can't afford the $12.00 a day per person, then you shouldn't be taking a cruise.

I've been on 12+ cruises and see how hard these people work and what goes on in the background, it's a shame how these people have to pick up after some of the slobs on board, I wonder if they live that way at home.

Maybe you should try their job for a week and see if it's worth $12.00 per day!

    Amen.
