On sea days, do they have the make your own salad bar in the MDR? How about the mini buffet at breakfast in the MDR?
Thanks!

Just to let everyone know that we have reached the 25 minium sign up on the Roll Call for this sailing to have a Meet & Mingle party on board. So, if you are on this sailing and have not as yet joined the Roll Call please sign up so we can meet in person.

that was at ocean plaza..the sunrise does not have an ocean plaza area
I am referring to an inside deck area and not an outside one.

Anyone know if the Sunrise will have a mini breakfast buffet available like the Sunshine on deck 5 or 6 near the area where people sign up for anytime dining?

Exactly where on the Adventure of the Seas is the Diamond Lounge located?

That's what I wanted to know. On Anthem, Concierge was able to secure tickets to one of the shows as well as a shore excursion for us.

Wait and do it at the port. If they do not like the photo they took, they will just take another one. Happened to my friend. Guess she moved or photo didn't show correctly.

Will this be available as an alternative to the buffet on the Sunrise on boarding day or are we limited to the buffet?

yes...They just release this:
Wow! Glad to know I was correct in my assumption. May 23 is just one day before my birthday! 😍
We will be sailing on her in early September from NYC and really looking forward to seeing all the changes/upgrades from the Triumph.

If they are looking for a lot of fan fare, I would think NY would be their choice because of the media coverage that would ensue.

Any free beach chairs? We are not "beach" people and we would get off the shiip because we no longer have to tender and we would not plan on staying long.

You can go to the casino and visit nearby areas with lots of shops. You take a local taxi, pay for round trip up front, and are told where to find the return taxi to the dock and the schedule for the taxis. Return to the pier is usually right in front of the casino where you were dropped off.
You can also get a taxi to the beach if you so choose.
We were told that when Nassau has too many ships there the overflow ships are sent to Freeport instead (2 max).
Glad we decided to get off the ship and have a look around the port area as well as going to the casino.'

Our boarding passes are available to print out. However, not the luggage tags. We are on Ad. of the Seas leaving 5/31. So when will our luggage tags be available to print?

If your C & A level is Diamond, it doesn't matter if you are booked into an inside cabin or the most expensive cabin on the ship. You earned your Diamond status and are entitled to the benefits that go with it. Someone does not like it, that's their problem not yours.

You do need a pen to fill out your Custom/Immigration form. Pencil is not acceptable.

Why such negativity towards this ship? Don't get it. Sailed the ship when it was named Triumph more than once and enjoyed each sailing. Only complaint was that they kept the ship a little too cold for my taste.

Sorry to hear that after sailing on Anthem several times and being spoiled.

Anything is better than having to tender to the island from the ship! Makes it easier to get back on if we do not like what we find once on the island.

Fellow Passengers: With all of the recent reports of chair hogs, and knowing how bad they were on this ship last year, I was not expecting a pleasant experience related to this on this cruise. I must say I was quite surprised. Our second day on the ship was a sea day. We were out on the pool deck around 9:00. We usually grab chairs on deck 12 above the pool deck. Between the pool deck and deck 12, I don’t think there were 50 chairs with towels on them at 9:00! On the pool deck there were as many available chairs as there were claimed chairs. There were almost NO claimed chairs on deck 12. For the entire cruise we never had a problem finding 4 chairs next to each other. The only possible exception to the whole chair hog situation was the Solarium. I looked in there a few times and most of the chairs were claimed. However, most of the chairs had people in them or the occupants were in the pool. There were very few chairs with just a towel or a book “occupying” them. In addition to all of the friendly people around the pool we found this to be a very pleasant group of passengers. There were no line cutters in the Windjammer. Elevator courtesy was the best I have ever seen.
Our first cruise as Diamond members: We turned Diamond on our cruise last year on Adventure and have been looking forward to experiencing some of the perks associated with being a Diamond member. We used the 20% spa discount, the BOGO glass of wine, the free photo and our free spins in the casino (I won a tee shirt!). The biggest perk for us was the Cocktail Hour in the Diamond Lounge and the 3 drinks loaded daily onto our Sea Passes. We are not big drinkers. When we cruise we always choose a bar to have a cocktail at before dinner. We sometimes have another with dinner and one or two more later that night. We visited The Diamond lounge a few nights but it was always full so we never stayed in there to drink. We got our free drinks and some snacks and took them out to the Viking Crown Lounge. On a couple of the nights, we visited the Champagne Bar before dinner and used the free drinks that were loaded onto our Sea Passes. We visited several of the bars after dinner on our way to the show each night and never had a problem getting one of the free drinks. I think there were only one or two nights that we used all three of our drinks.
Where is the Diamond Lounge located? Can you get coffee there in the morning?
Thanks.

Any idea how long Perry Grant will be on the ship?
Saw him on Celebrity and he was a riot with a big following that only became larger each night as passengers learned about his antics!
