we have gotten great deals this year. We just got off the jewel of the sea, 13 day ta. Inside cabin cost us about $1300 with a $200 obc. Next is the grandeur, 9 day sailing mid feb, again, inside cabin, $429 with $100 obc. And to top it off, we booked the rhapsody for dec 2018, 14 day ta for about $1200 still staying inside. At these rates, we will sail anywhere, it doesn't matter where or which ship.
cheers

As we got off the tram at the top of the hill we were greeted by (what else) a shopping center!:D
It was called the Peak Galleria and the door to the left led into a Starbucks. A nice stop for what was a slightly chilly temperature on top of the mountain.
However, the Gelato shop was a little slow on business.
The buildings are very different - no cookie cutter designs -and it looks like the ones on the top of the hill also have interesting architectural details. Enjoying the photos.

We have St Maarten on our 10-26 cruise. Since we are going to Bonaire, Curaçao would be my choice for replacement. I am assuming we will still go to Antigua. Time will tell.
We also have 3 days booked in Key West after the cruise. 😂
Cheers, Denise
I second Curacao as a replacement port. Love that place.

Whatever is more convenient.
I always like to have my car right there so I can just load up and head home.
Same here. Even if the drive is a little long, we like to have the convenience of the car.

As I mentioned earlier, most of the displays in Hanoi Hilton dealt with the actions of the French. These murals depict life under the French prison guards.
Fists raised in defiance on the left side of the mural while mistreatment depicted on the right side.
This is one of 16 guillotines that the French used to execute prisoners. Notice the bucket to collect the severed heads.
I had no idea they used these outside of France - and they had 16 of them! You have to wonder how many executions they had.

I had this question as well so thank you OP for asking. Is the menu the same for anytime dining? If so, what is the major difference aside from having a different wait staff every night?
Thanks!
Us too. We were thinking that if we got back to the ship late we could use anytime. Not so.

Unless they are from hard ice cream I don't want one anyway. I don't like all the stuff they put in soft ice cream. I love milk and will drink it.
I agree about the soft ice cream. Much prefer the regular type.

Great photos of the cave...that place looks awesome.

Excellent snorkeling and diving at Roatan. We also enjoyed the Maya Chan resort in Costa Maya.
Ditto on the snorkeling in Roatan!

Really? Bringing up a post from 2007? Is this a joke?
Sorry...didn't mean to cause a problem.

Hi, Jack. Someone cited this review on your current review on the Celebrity board and I had to come back and read it again - it never gets old. Thanks again for a great review.

Possible coincidence???
I have seen that T-shirt in the mall. I was not aware that anyone actually bought it!:D

Amazing photos of the pagoda -I don't think I have ever seen anything like it. By the way, I loved the laughing Buddha also.:D

No bashing, please. Help your fellow Carnival cruiser if you can.
For those who have group coverage through their employer or an exchange, medical evacuation is normally covered. However, medical repatriation to get you home is not normally covered. This is especially true if your insurance has in out of network benefits. Normally excluded for out of network providers, which most likely will be the case.
A sad story, but a lesson for all of us who regularly bypass travel insurance.
