I generated my 60th two weeks ago on Britannia and was pleasantly surprised to find balloons, a card signed by the captain and a voucher for the spa (which the wife used as it's not my thing).

We had the same problem on Britannia in the Caribbean during her maiden year. It was the only complaint I made on their feedback form. We are on her again in March and are hoping that they have the sun bed police out in force.

Lovely window tables, opposite the quiet East bar. Not easy to find in some ways but a lovely restaurant.

My wife will not eat in a restaurant where she cannot translate the menu lol

I would just tell that to the person giving out the embarkation cards and say we have to check in together

We tried to arrange embarkation together for this on the phone and email with P&O but they refused point blank. They would only allow my daughter's family (3 of them) to embark together as priority.

This could be interesting. When we embark on Britannia next March my daughter and her family go to priority boarding due to my grandsons disability. My wife, son and I go through normal boarding.
However, my daughter will be registering their cabin against my credit card but I won't be in the same queue.
Hmmm. I wonder how this is going to work?

I seem to recall that we went for a nice walk around Bridgetown with lots of spare time.

I found the flight to Barbados very short because of the films and programmes you can watch. The time literally flew by!

Never seen much of a queue in Barbados as the flights are staggered.

I wish I could say the same. When we arrived in December 15 we had to wait first of all on the tarmac for about 30 or so minutes before any coaches were available and then queued for ages in the cattle shed for heaven only knows how long. Unfortunately all the aircraft arrived within minutes of each other 😢
We've never seen a priority check in for suite passengers in the Caribbean, in Barbados, in fact last time we were in a suite and it was quite a long queue but it moved quickly. Most times, in fact in the Caribbean we've had a suite and haven't seen a priority queue. As has been said, flights all arrive at different times so each plane load gets checked in as they arrive.Sent from my Moto G (4) using Forums mobile app

I have booked a cruise for next year for myself and family. The booking comprises of three cabins, all of which have their own P&O booking reference.
Due to family reasons it is preferable that we have 2 rows of three seats together as my grandson has autism and may need a fair bit of attention from all of us.
Has anyone any experience of being able to do this with multiple P&O booking references and if so, how they went about it?

I would concur with the other replies, the binoculars are not worth using as they tend to be in awful condition and unusable. Take your own if you have any.

Definitely no vest tops for men in the MDR at breakfast although strangely women can.
I saw two men asked to change their vest tops when on my last cruise on Arcadia at breakfast.

We went on Arcadia last August, she was the third P&O ship we had been on and our second favourite. She was a lovey ship.

What wonderful and moving stories. I have been wondering whether this was allowed since my father passed away last August. My mother has said that she would like his ashes scattered in the Norwegian fjords as this was his favourite place on their two cruises.
Now I can tell my mother that this can be done although I haven't a clue when I will be doing a northern cruise!

I wonder whether the European port VAT will still be added on after Brexit? Are the moment you pay this tax on his bought on the ship of your on their area (10% on drink in Spanish waters).
Of course it could get worse :(

We went with Geoiceland Tours. Very professional and a nice small mini bus. We did the Golden circle with them with a call into the Secret Lagoon as seen on Rick Steins long weekend recently.

Who are these people who don't drink alcohol? None of them seem to be on this forum. :)

US dollars are used everywhere, although if you use them in shops you may get change in the local currency.

I always wear the usual black tie attire.
You have now given me another idea. I'd better start looking for a velvet jacket :)

Stockholder OBC, can't see it on my account
in P&O Cruises ( UK )

You don't have to have a share certificate. I print off a copy of my broker dealing account statement, black out the bits I don't want them to see, then email them to the shareholder email address.
A couple of days later I got an email confirming that the OBC has been applied then a few days later, a revised 'invoice' from my TA arrived.
