We will be sailing in May on the splendor for the first time. Thank you for your brief review. I was a bit nervous with it being an older ship, but to hear it was clean.

Also first time in Grand Turk, can I ask what you did in this port?

We are on the splendor may 26

I got a $60 reduced fare plus $50 obc for our may cruise this morning.

Check back daily. I just saved $60 this morning for our May cruise. The prices have been all over the place since the first of the year.

Our cruise has been a different price everyday the last 3 days.

I have honestly never even gone to see the spa on any of our cruises before. I have read that you can use the sauna and showers for free. Is this true? We will be on the splendor and the spa will be right above us so I thought we might use this a little more since we will have 4 in an interior cabin?

I plan to go out the first day and check out the spa and amenities and maybe treat myself and daughter to something but was looking for feedback ahead of time

We will be on the splendor May 26 for a 9 day journeys cruise. I know the Journeys cruises are newer. I've found very little info on them. Any feedback on what you found to be unique on your recent journeys cruise would be appreciated.

I've also heard there are 2 elegant nights and 1 formal night. Is this true, which nights would these be?? I know usually the first elegant night is the first sea day, just curious for packing purposes?

I'm super nervous about this set up as well

We will have an interior with 2 uppers with me, my husband, 11 year old son and 13 year old daughter. Last cruise we had a balcony.

I can't justify an extra $1000 for this. I just wish they had the couch set up for interiors

We sail may 26 and I was able to select a time earlier today before I received an email and made final payment.

We sail on splendor in May from Miami. I haven't received email but since reading your post, logged in my account and was able to choose a time

I have not received an email yet. I went to my online account, under manage and it has a tab for my check in time. I was able to choose anytime between 10-3. We don't sail until May 26.

We will be there may 29 and 30.

I wonder when their summer schedule starts

We are going on a 9 day Journeys cruise in May. Was there a lot of unique things that you noticed are different in a journeys vs regular cruise?

We are on that cruise as well. Deck 9 inside cabin. I would love that upgrade. I'm curious to see what all they do in drydrock.

Stashandme we are on the same cruise. We will have a party of 11 of us. Kids from 5-13. Also interested in finding things to do since it's our first time. We will probably go to horseshoe bay one day.

We have done 2 carnival and one Disney cruise. Our kids were 10 and 11 when we took a 4 day Disney cruise for their first one. It was amazing!!! Wish we could take Disney every time. The shows were so much better on Disney. Atmosphere, everything about it. We participated in fish extender too and my kids loved delivering gifts and looking for gifts each time we returned to our cabin.

I'm sorry I'm not helpful, but I would love to hear input as well. We will be in st. Marten next week with our 9 and 11 year old. I'm leaning towards shopping a bit, then a beach, last stop maho beach to see planes. We are in port 7-5

Just so I have an idea when looking at map of the beaches. Which beach is closest to the pier where the cruise ships are? Also would anyone know approx how much to figure for taxi fare from pier to maho beach, then orient and back to pier for 2 adults and 2 kids??

Never been on this big of a ship. Is it crowded on sea days? Have either of you done the eastern itenarary?

Tips or advise of activities/food not to miss?

I've heard more and more about crime in Nassau. We have never been. We are going next month and was thinking of not doing an excursion just get off and shop, maybe a beach but not much time in port?
