I am also waiting anxiously for the reunion. Kudos to all who have stepped up to the plate to help. As ShipWalker said, there’s a movie here for sure. I will be raising a glass of Ontario wine when Kindergirl hugs her parents.

Our TA just rebooked our cruise. We had a lot of OBC with the Landmark promotion. With the 3 for Free, the base price went down (refundable price was slightly more than online price), the paid gratuities and the OBC, we came out about $500 ahead.
The 72 hour airfare promotion was a really good saving. We are happy cruisers to be.

Thank you for the advice. I did manage to find the Premium Economy button. Flights are down about $200. We got a coupon from CAA for $150 off our cruise so today has been a good one, so far.

I am trying to figure out how to check the pricing. When I check in My Personalizer, it is the original price. Is that where a different price would appear? Is there somewhere else I should be checking? We have booked Premium Economy seats, if that makes a difference.

This is the first time we have booked though EZ Air and I’m not sure I am checking correctly. In My Personalizer, it just shows the original price even when I go to Modify flights. When I went to Fare Quotes, (pretending to book a flight), I found my flight, but I couldn’t find an option for Premium Economy seats., which is what we have booked. The flights on the airline site are slightly cheaper. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think May 25, 2020 is a Bank Holiday in Scotland. We are scheduled to be in Edinburgh that day. How will the holiday impact our visit?

Sotiris, shuttles usually drop you at the Belfast Welcome Centre on Chichester Street. In case you are ‘in need’, there’s a Timmy’s just down the street to the left. Enjoy...
It’s good to know that Timmy has made it across the pond. 😃 Double double is becoming known world wide.
Thanks everyone who has replied. You have given me lots to think about.

We used Value Cabs for our tour, picked up at port. Loafs of cabs available at port. Excellent driver, clean comfy car, £240 total (per car not per person, we had 4, larger party would work out even cheaper), hit two castles, a gorgeous Bay used in GoT (Princess buses can't get down there), driver bought us some snacks, Giants Causeway for several hours, rope bridge views and so on. Worked out significantly less than a Princess tour would have been, and returned us with time to see the Titanic or GoT exhibits if we'd wanted..
Shuttle into City center was £16 return. No port shuttle offered. Disembarked Crown today
Thank you for detailed info.

Thanks everyone for the information. I will certainly look into Value Cabs and see what they offer. The Giants Causeway looks amazing.

It was too good to be true. I just found a Patter from June 2018. The shuttle costs $8 pp each way. I wonder what a taxi would be, for convenience.
-
Thank you for the quick reply. I have read some reviews from earlier this year but there was no mention of cost. Free would be a very nice bonus.

We are booked on. British Isles cruise and are starting to plan our excursions. I wondered the cost of the Princess shuttle from the port into Belfast. Also, are there taxis at the port that will take you into the city? Is so, what is the approximate cost? Thanks for any information.

I hope you have a great time. We would have loved to sail with you again! We’re not going until the very end of June this year.

Yes, that would have been fun. We like to be home in the warmer weather so we can enjoy the pool. Did you create another fantastic spreadsheet?

Recently, we have sailed mainly on HAL. This has been based on itinerary. This year we are going back to Princess (our first since becoming platinum) for a British Isles cruise. We know there will differences but we will roll with the punches, so to speak.
The one big difference will be the size of the balcony. We really like the cabins on the "hump" of HAL ships. They have a bit more space inside and out. The BI cruise is port intensive and knowing British weather, our balcony time may be limited.

I see that the last post was from August 2017. Just wondered if anyone knew if this shuttle would be operating in May 2018.

Are taxis readily available at the dock after a cruise? We are debating about taking a coach to Heathrow but will need to get to the station or just hiring a car service.
Thanks for any information.

We had booked a cruise during the Cyber Sale where the gratuities were included. After reading about the Anniversary Sale on CC, I called our travel agent and she was able to get our fare adjusted. The end result, considering the lower base cost of cruise, the higher OBC, and then deducting the gratuities results in about $1000 saving for us. [emoji3][emoji3][emoji3]

Dublin: Did the HOHO bus. Bought timed entry tickets beforehand for the Kilmainham Gaol which has limited entrance so is not offered to larger tours. Very interesting as it was central to the late 1800/1900s political history of Ireland
Cork: ECoach/Butler tours. Blarney Castle (very crowded but the grounds are beautiful even if you decide not to climb the stairs to kiss the Blarney Stone), lovely Kinsale village for lunch. Short stop at Charlesfort. Very reasonable price.
Belfast: City and Causeway Tours with Alistar. If Alistar isn't available, ask for David who was beyond wonderful. REALLY impressed with this company. Alistar called me from Ireland to personally explain his tour offerings! David was our driver and guide and took us to out of the way places we never would have seen otherwise. If you are a Game of Thrones watcher, he knows all the filming spots. He even took us to the Peace Wall in Belfast and let us sign it. Amazing day.
Thanks the ideas.

Hi NJ
Good decision. We had planned a having some pizza, getting some wine and relaxing. All those plans went out the window. It took a couple of days on the cruise to recuperate but it was a great cruise.
