Does this mean that the entire OP's post is rubbish, and the PVP is to be discredited. I'm two weeks, they will hardly have time to vacuum all the carpets.
The upgrades including guys burger joint, All the new bars and the sports bar were done in two weeks on the carnival conquest and carnival Glory and I think carnival liberty.

Usually have it shown in a number of areas including main lounge and lido. Not going to give up a chance of selling lots of booze.
Elegant night will be changed for sure.
Everybody here speculating I suggest you write to John Heald on his facebook page for the correct info.
-
I've read this thread but find no mention of what changes are being talked about. Was there some sort of Carnival announcement I missed? My DW & I just sailed the Triumph in September and thought the Carnival product had improved from past sailings we've done. Not that those were bad to begin with.
May I suggest you also look at John healds facebook page. He gives all the current information and answers all your questions.

I have recently been on the sunshine and breeze. They have the red frog pubs and have guitar players and singers and they are perfect for that location and I love by the passengers I think judging by response.

Right Serena, no one who appreciates a tablecloth has been to a 5 star restaurant. Ok....
There is a difference in a fine dining restaurant with beautiful tables (often marble, stone etc or at least beautiful wood) and Carnival's lacquered Denny's style table. And, this is a forum and anyone who is on here can post their opinions and should not have to be judged by people like you.
They are the same surfaces they use in their Steak Houses. using Denny's as a comparison is like comparing posters here to Henry Kissinger.

Bravo:):)
Maybe John will give you and keel haul a table for two on your next cruise.lol

Just because you didn't see your steward doesn't mean he is automatically guilty. We didn't see our steward the last full day because she was at the end of her contract and had taken the day off to prepare for her departure. We only know this because we saw her the morning we were departing when she came to say good bye to her co workers. Sorry you lost your gift, but my guess is they were left behind, not stolen
.
Contact JohnHeald on his Facebook and I'm sure he will do his best to get them back for you and let you know the status of where they are. I agree with the others, To blame the cabin steward is not fair.

Funny how this got rereleased. Everybody likes to check out negative reviews. Myself included. I will click on a bad review before a good one.
The negative and flaming posts get far more views than positive ones. Symptomatic of these boards.

I was just wondering if when you or someone you are cruising with is cruising during their birthday if they will get anything free from Carnival?
I know you can buy a variety of different things, but does Carnival give anything free?
Let John Heald know on his facebook page, he is a wonderful man and will send you something. He is off now but will be back next week. Happy birthday cruise to you.
Oh well, them dreamy eyes wouldnt do anything for me.
I hope you get to cruise with Mr Heald one day. -
Most people who have seen them have thought they were a major stepdown from what Carnival has done in the past.
Most people is an in correct statement. Epic rock on Sunshine was awesome and everyone have it a standing up ovation. Love playlist shows
-
So, all Carnival has to do to appease their masses is get a retired Aircraft Carrier out of mothballs, slap a red funnel on top, scatter some chairs on the flight deck, stock the mess hall with government cheese, pipe in some music and keep prices cheap. Got it!
I think your Mummy is calling you

the reason the dining room isn't full like it used to be, is obviously because of the menu which is so much different than it used to be, and the time it takes for the service. Going to dinner in the MDR used to be an event, now it's just well, like dinner at home. Except at home, it doesn't take 2 or three hours once you sit down. It is sad really, if they just stop and look back at what they were doing right when the dining room was always full, they could get back to that level.
Just curious as I don't know the answer to this... how are the MDRs on the other lines? Are they full? Is the service slow?
Why is everyone so anxious to get hurried service. When I first started cruising 20 years ago dinner was an event because of the conversation with friends. I cruised on MSC this year and dinner was 2 hours 30 mins, nobody complained except the Americans, why are you all so in a hurry

Carnival will get stronger and as long as they keep their prices the best in the cruise ship industry the millions who love cruising will keep booking. Oh and the crew I think they are the very best I have experienced.
Not even in the same league. Richard Spacey and Dave Chapman are masters at their craft.
John Heald is doing the same crap he did the 90's, today. All staged.
You hatred for him is discapable, especially today -
Can't say I've ever booked a cruise based on a Cruise Director.
Try cruising with John Heald or Richard Spacey on RCI then you will know why they are the best and why so many pax book to cruise with them -
I wouldn't expect the other lines to follow down the path Carnival seems to be taking, so it's a non issue.
Wrong.Cunard does not have them in their fine dinning restaurants.

Welcome Home .
I think your lost, home for you is on the RCCL boards LOL
-
I can't take too much more Brilliance.....
Then why do you keep writing here?
-
Is this fine dining?
AND
Here is my image of fine dining.
The person cooking the food in the first picture is not a Carnival crew person. He is wearing a Royal
Caribbean name badge
-
Really? If a car with no air conditioning or power steering was $100 less than one with air condition or power steering, would you buy it? I think people are looking at the whole picture and not seeing CCL a worthwhile buy.
CCL is desperate, tossing a cat in the hat into the mix. It will take more than employees stalking about in antiquated character costumes to keep this line from sinking.
They are stuck with horribly overcrowded, dated ship designs and with those snazzy modern RCL ships, they'll have to drop their rates much lower to sail full.
Oh wait, they stopped doing that last quarter:

Do you think by preaching this garbage that others will stop cruising with Carnival. It ain't working
-
Am I? Maybe I should watch the show.
Past my bedtime and I would rather watch paint dry.
-
I'm impressed that it even passed their desks. And zeroed right in on a good line.
Go Jimmy!
You are his target audience
-
That's pretty funny!
Must have taken his writers hours to come up with that joke. Oh how you must've laughed
