  1. So I booked my Vacation about six months ago on the Carnival breeze for April 17. We had to book 2 rooms a balcony and an interior which is right in front of my balcony room. My family is my husband and I and our small kids ages 6, 2 and 9 month old. but it just hit me today that my balcony room is not quad so it doesnt have a bunk bed that comes from the ceiling.

I'm trying to figure out how can we all be in this room

I already got my infants bed so i'm all set with her and just wondering can i bring a portable cot on board or what do you suggest

I cant think right now out of the box

I will oviously not be using the interior. Maybe for luggage storage but not for anything else

    Please help!

    Thanks in advance

  2. So we are traveling July 1st leaving from Barcelona, SPAIN and its my husband and I and our 6 kids. We have kids from all ages 18, 17, 16, 6, 3, 1 at time of travel.

I usually always buy escursions from Carnival directly but it seems like the escursions in Europe are much more expensive.

Can anyone help as to who they used in the past or on their upcoming trip to europe to tour each port?

  3. Hi we are a family of husband wife and 5 children. We cruise alot with carnival. Atleast 2-3 times a year but this will be our first mediterranean cruise and we don't know which cruise line is best for us. They have same ports its just the cruise line. Please help as we have never cruise with either. I have read lots of review on both but still having hard time deciding

What did you like the most of the cruise?

Our kids ages summer 2015. 2,5,13,15,17

  4. We will be cruising on our 1st Royal Caribbean in June 1015 on vision of the sea in Europe.

We are pros on Carnival but wanted to know on Royal the extra specialty restaurant like Johnny Rocket and etc are those extra cost? If so do they charge it to your room card?

Also does Royal offer anything you can buy to get onboard faster like carnival (FTTF) does?

  5. I have been on CC reading reviews left and right. We are a family of 2 adults and 5 kids. In the set of 5 kids i have an infant well he will be 2 on this cruise to europe. We go on cruises every 3-4 months so my kids especially my infant has travelled alot so i always bring all gears needed.

My question is in europe how easy is it to stroll a stroller around? I have read alot of reviews but non mention kids in strollers.

We do excursions with the cruise line. Never on our own due to it being easier for us to have our day planned.

Hope i get some good answers here

  6. I am just doing a small review on how everything went. I am in PHL waiting for our next flight and decided since my baby is sleeping let me take a few minutes to write up something

First let me tell you a little about my family me (32) DH (42) DD (16) DS (4) DS (1)

Well we cruise a lot this is my 12 month old babys 3rd cruise and let me tell you the cruise itself was very good. Food was great even though at the MDR there wasn't much option for me but my husband and daugther ate alot off their menu as they like seafood. The steward was great listened to every request we made. His name is Harvey hes on the spa deck and is incharge of the whole spa deck. We had 2 rooms and my daugther was lucky enough to have a room to her self because my nannys 2 kids were unable to go with us due to a death in the family. So my 4 year old would not sleep with her and my baby had his pack and play.

I brought everything. From stroller to car seat to diapers and baby food.

Heres why. So we flew from Providence RI and my infant has a seat reason why being on 2 connecting flights isnt easy with a baby and either way he needed his own luggage to put all of his baby needs. I did not use the car seat in any of the island but i did use it when we were going to a quick walk or something on the cruise itself. Baby food. Good thing i did our MDR server told us that they do not puree any food. I did give him table food but my baby is picking on certain foods so we gave him whatever we knew he would eat and then his baby food and formula. So entertainment like always was excellent.. Ashley who is the entertainment manager was great always got everyone up dancing. And like always my family participated in the deck parties and indoor too. For any of you who was on this cruise you would know us as the babies with tuxedo. Red and blue

Anyways so the cruise director was great and so was everyone else who made this cruise awesome

The only complaints i have was the weather and the ship moving so much. I in 7 years have never been on a cruise where i felt so sick (motion sickness). Other than that everything was great

I will try to post a full review with pictures at a later time. But i am willing to answer any questions you fellow cruisers might have especially about cruising with a baby

    Thanks and ttyl

  7. I traveled a few months ago with my then 6 month old baby and everything they have listed on top is good to remember. You not want to be left without spmething and then need it. Babies tend to use things when they are not home. For example my 2 kuds got sick the day before and i needed antibiotics, nebulizer and treatment for their rsv. And thank god i brought that with me as if i didnt would have had to pay hundred to take them to the doctors onboard. But we had fun because my kids were go even though they had treatments

  8. I love cruising and so does my large family. Its me (32) hubby (41) my DS (1) my DS (4) my DS (14) and my twin girls (15). My kids have been traveling for years so has the baby. This will be his 3rd cruise but now hes walking. What escursion do you recommend for a family with a baby in St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Kitts, St. Maarten.

We will be cruising in 4 weeks so i am starting to look into booking escursions.

Please let me know what you have experienced with a baby

  9. So I have always booked my cruises and vacations through a PVP but last month had an issue as we missed out flight due to the airport being full of people from the snow strom we got hit with after new years. So we kept calling carnival since our agency was close that early in the morning. Carnival kept telling us you need to try and get on another flight or call your agency. So no luck on getting on another flight till thursday. No other airline had any space due to the 3 days of closed and cancelled flight. So when i finally talked to my agency they said i would need to call my insurance and file a claim.

Now we are going to book a cruise for the end of this month after receiving our check.

I want to know whats the difference in service? Its my DH and I and 4 kids. I already booked our flights leaving the night before

  10. Well as far as i saw on the news a few weeks ago, as of Jan 16 everyone is required to have a passport due to alot of people using others identities with birth cert. don't get me wrong maybe i misunderstood but thats what i rapidly saw.

Hope you can get that passport on time
