Keep us posted!
Not very informative but at least hopefully “R: The answer is we will and should be in Port Canaveral as per the schedule to sail on April 6th. Boarding should commence between 10:00 am and 10:30.”

April 6 sailing we have a family wedding woth 86 attending , so much has gone into planning this. Definitely not something that can just be rescheduled.
We got the welcome email from the suite concierge yesterday, which hopefully is a good sign. I asked when they are planning on leaving Cadiz, hopefully we will get an update soon.

Anyone staying up tonight to see how many transfers? I hope you folks have a better export/inport ratio than Allure had this morning. If Allure keeps that up soon a lot more than the Windjammer will be self serve.
We board allure Sunday, hopefully they left some crew on her

FWIW we got the fairly standard email to delay boarding on Sunday by an hour. Hope all is well we look forward to the cruise either way

The carrousel is running albeit only 4 or 5 riders. No lines.
Thanks we just booked on the Jan 16th sailing. It’s my daughter’s favorite thing.

Do you know of they are running the carrousel?

Don't know
When we boarded freedom last week they only looked for Suite on your boarding doc, which is the same for juniors and the above cabins. We have done one junior and one owners since the restart, both times no issue in the suite line, we went in at 1215 with a 1pm time

Continental breakfast is free.
"American" breakfast items incur the per order charge. This includes things like cook to order eggs, pancakes, etc.
Having said that during the cruise restart American breakfast is not incurring the per order fee. At least on some ships, can speak for all ships.
On freedom last week as breakfast was included

Cruises from the US are slightly different:
"Vaccinated parents wishing to go ashore freely can visit our youth facilities once onboard to learn about drop off program hours and availability, and reserve time for their child on the day they wish to go in port.
Tours are not required for any guest to go ashore at our private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay." I.e. if you go with the kids, you need the tour, if you leave them onboard, you don't. (Either someone stays and watches them onboard, or drop them off at Adventure Ocean) Not sure why Adventure of the Seas is different here.
This is what I was expecting however on Freedom last week they changed it to all in the family even if the kids were at adventure ocean. They offered 20% off for the kids

Testing is required to enter the US by air from any foreign country. (Like the Bahamas or Mexico). Testing is not required for domestic travel.
Ok that’s what I thought , however royals website lists the testing as a requirement on its freedom and odyssey departures from Florida page. Hence my confusion.

I've recently booked a cruise on Harmony of the seas for late February I couldnt be more excited. However I was wondering if anyone knew what a good price for the Deluxe drink package is this year? I'm getting offered 20% off which is $66.99 thats about 17% more then I paid 2 years ago I know they usually raise it about 7-10% a year. I was just curious if thats a decent deal.
On Freedom yesterday the “normal price” was $89 however they were offering buy one get one %50 off

We just came of Freedom with two non Vaxed kids, the last night I asked guest services about testing requirements to disembark and they informed me that it is not needed once onboard, they are only doing the testing prior to boarding. Maybe I missed something but I’m pretty sure this a change in protocol. The kids certainly appreciated it. Just an FYI

Are you currently booked on it? If not Freedom is currently not bookable until September. Which means they are at capacity on those sailings.
Yes we have a booking , and they actually just called me back and apologized for the confusion earlier they made a mistake the sailing is good to go as of now

On the phone with RCL they won’t apply a FCC because according to them it is included in their list of suspended sailing announced June 4. I spent an hour on hold hoping they would get that correct but the agent claims it is correct. I have heard no such thing and makes no sense with the June 4 date as that’s when they announced freedom is a go. Anyone else had similar issues?

Oh interesting! I am pretty new to this but am scheduled on Navigator this summer. If they were to switch ships how to they handle the room assignments? Is it done automatically by room class and/or sailing status or would we get to choose our new room? Thanks!
Not sure I had a guarantee so that’s easier

I need Navigator to get the test cruise so we can go on our last cruise on her out of Miami in Sept. Then she goes to the West Coast and we won't go on her again
IMO I think they might swap Freedom into the Navigator schedule based on the port schedules Miami has on their site. Just a guess

Well...you were going to fly a long ways anyway for 9 nights? I don't know that Brisbane would be a lot longer. But if you are going to fly that far, you should definitely make it a worthwhile trip.
Sorry, I meant far from Sydney our plans revolved around Sydney due to friends that live close. I could be wrong but Brisbane doesn't sound all that exciting either.

Was cancelled and off the cruise planner this morning.
So much for "cruise with confidence" when they cancel and kick you off the ship after L&S, repost essentially the same itinerary and cruise date and offer you $50 OBC to book at 225% prevailing rates.
Handled so poorly. This one is going to leave a bad taste for a long time.
I agree this has been handled poorly, we were on quantum out of Sydney on a 9n, my agent informed me it was canceled refund on the way, but if i rebook a similar sailing they will give me 100 OBC, the ship was moved to Brisbane and is basically doing the same cruise for double the price, I pointed that out and they called again. This time the story was the cancelation Was a mistake and they reinstated the cruise with the updated port with no change in price. Now I don’t know what I want to do as Brisbane is quite far from Sydney

Reminds me of how the Canceled and redid the Ovation 2021 transpacific in March.

Yes but as with anywhere else, only during the nightly event hours.
is this a change for some reason I was under the impression I needed to grab drinks from bar and bring them in, but i could have easily missed something.
