  1. The Sunshine is one of my favorite ships. The Serenity area is fantastic, we love the comedy club and the food/service is usually pretty good.

I actually did see someone turned away during Elegant night last year - some guy came dragging up in shorts and a dirty white tank top. They politely sent him on his way, lol.

Do you recall what the tram cost?  Is there anything else to do? Resort fees seem pretty high

    for what it includes.

The tram is free. There didn't seem a whole lot to do besides hang out on the beach, honestly.

  3. We were on that one. Out of 14 cruises, definitely the worst weather we've been in. Why sail right into the middle of a storm (that you KNOW is there) and basically park while the ship gets tossed around like a toy in a bathtub? I didn't mind being late, but how about sit somewhere in the ocean where the storm isn't

We had a 6th floor balcony and at some point in the middle of the night I saw waves higher than my window. When we were hit with a really bad one, the balcony door flew open and everything on the tables was knocked to the floor. I had to grab onto the mattress to keep from being flung to the floor too, lol. No information on the TV, so all we could do was hang on and wait it out. Not fun.

Charleston is a nice city, if you already have airfare booked you could just vacation there in the city and surrounding areas. At least it'd be a vacation.

We're only an hour and a half away, we usually just drive down the morning of the cruise. But you're right, we could just hang out in Charleston if it comes down to it, there's plenty to do.

  5. MDR for me! It's where I can have eggs benedict, corned beef hash and pineapple juice. The breakfast of champions!

That is my exact favorite breakfast, too! Add a few sweet things from the bread basket and I'm ready to go. :D:Dclear.png?emoji-grin-1677

On early port days we do the buffet, I usually get a big bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar and nuts, a bit of bacon, and some fruit.

  6. We got off the Sunshine last week also, loved the ship (2nd time we've cruised on her). They did say in one of the comedy shows that they were going to redo the Limelight (comedy club) when they put the Sunshine into drydock, which is a good thing. The setup has alway been horrible in there.

Hubby says the gym stayed busy, but never so much that you couldn't get on any machines or treadmills.
