  1. I was excited to see the letter. My friend told me about it this morning. We are booked for May 10th on a 4 day Baja cruise. This will cover our gratuities. Hope my letter comes soon. I printed a copy to bring with me in case I don't automatically receive the credit when we board. It's a nice incentive for those of us stilling wanting to cruise. I think it's smart to offer rebooking options for those who want to reschedule. Maybe the ships will be less crowded the next few months.

  2. The ship was no doubt beautiful. The updated and modern materials were excellent. The bars and venues all looked great.

Not sure if it was mentioned earlier but the AC system appears to be an issue. Even comics made fun on the problem.

Our service at poolside and at dining was excellent. One breakfast in the dining room was slow though with about 30 minutes to receive food.

Was disappointed the dining room menu is the same ol same ol. Bummer. Was hoping they would have updated it.

We thought the rock show was much better than the "Broadway" show. The Broadway show was just all over the place and costumes were odd. My wife, who is usually pretty mum about such things said they looked like dancing Walking Dead zombies.

Food throughout the ship we thought was great. Was nice to get a salad in Serentity and Guys smokehouse was good.

Wife waited an hour for skyride. The ropes course was easy to just walk on to and you can go around as many times as you'd like.

Warming, if you are on decks 1 or 2, beware of the crew nightclub that is just below 1. Lots of people complaining about their rooms shaking from music as late at 2:30am.

    Great cruise though.

Really? My boarding time is 1:00PM.... does this mean we will just be checking in and then standing around the terminal until 2? Where did you learn that the boarding time was at 2? I never know where to find that kind of information....

I can't believe boarding doesn't start until 2pm. How could they get 4000 people on in a couple hours. The wife and I aren't buying it.

  4. When we cruised Splendor we had traffic approaching parking structure. We easily found parking, as the debarking guests were leaving. We are concerned about the Dec. 11th Inaugural sailing because there will be no debarking guests, the ship arrives with crew only. Since Panorama is about 1,000 passengers bigger than Splendor, we anticipate parking and traffic chaos.

  5. We are on the inaugural Panorama cruise. Our concern is parking. We cruise from Long Beach multiple times a year. Normally when we arrive passengers are getting off and parking is no prob. When we arrive for Panorama, the Imagination & Inspiration will be out to sea. With 2 ships full of passengers already parked, how are we going to fit? I think the majority of us will be sent to the other lot and shuttled back to terminal. Anticipating traffic and chaos.

On a positive note, once on the ship vacation officially begins. The morning drama will be over, a drink in hand, and let the fun begin.

Do you know where this EXTRA parking lot is located. Can one go there right off the bat and get the free shuttle to the ship and save the $56 ?

Would love to know this as well With that parking garage pretty quick to fill up, I feel we might just go there first as well.

When we were on Splendor earlier this year, there was quite the backup to get into that parking garage. With Panorama holding more guests, I am sure it will be more of the same.

where are you going to put it and where are you going to empty it, 20 gallons weighs 160 lbs

"Holds up to 20 gallons" . Does not need to be filled that much. The family using it on Splendor had about an inch of water in it.

This family had it in between a couple deck chairs. No one was bothered by it and everyone loved seeing the kiddo have a great time in the little pool.

  8. We were on Splendor earlier this year and a family was very thoughtful and repsetful of the rules and brought one of these for their baby. It's a small baby inflatable pool. The baby looked very very happy to be in it and the parents looked to be at east since they could sit in their chairs, eat and talk with friends and family while their baby was in a pool.

  9. We are regular cruisers out of Long Beach, living in SD. The port has changed over the years. They have remodeled the terminal and fixed the long lines of waiting with appointment times. The process is pretty good now. We are booked on the Panorama Dec. 11th sailing, booked a few days ago and got a 1:00-1:30 check in time. We were disappointed, understood we were late to check in. We usually get the 12:00-12:30 check in, show up at 11:00 and are at the pool deck enjoying a drink by 11:30.
