Just to confirm, I can bring as many bottles of wine I want as long as I pay the 15.00 corkage fee?
Also to confirm I can pick up wine in the ports and bring on board and pay the corkage fee and can drink it anywhere on the ship.

If wine is gifted to the cabin will the person receiving the gift have to pay corkage fee if they drink the bottle on their balcony?

Thank you everyone for the information.

Hi
Can anyone advise if there is electrical sockets near the bed for a C-PAC machine.
Also can we get distilled water on board for the C-PAC or do we need to bring our own.
Thanks for your assistance

For those who have done a Sunwing package with MSC when you are transported to the pier from the airport and then at the end of the cruise transported to pier to airport is it by bus, van or individual car.
The reason I ask is if I need to bring car seats for my grandsons or not.
Thanks for your replies

Riclop —-Cruise lines allow infants over 6 months to cruise. I have seen several babies on board during my 14 cruises. It just needs a little planning to do

We used SAS transportation 15.00 pp. one way. Very quick and driver was very friendly.http://www.ridesas.com/

I have a few questions. I’m travelling with my grandsons 8 months and 3 years.
When travelling from airport to cruise port does MSC provide a bus or vans? Do the children need car seats?
Also can we get a folding cot of some sort for infant to sleep in on board ship?
Does MSC provide baby food and milk either free or to purchase for infant?
Thank you for your replies. Any tips or advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

My son uses a C-PAC at night. We are looking at an Oceanview room for his family and was wondering if the electrical outlets are near the bed or do we need an extension power cord. Would the cabin Stewart be able to supply the extension cord.
My son will be also travelling with his 8 month son. Are cribs provided upon request or do we need to figure out something else for the baby to be secured when sleeping.
Thanks for your responses

Just back from Discovery 2 Cuban Fusion. As you can see from my signature I have done several different US cruises all on larger than Discovery 2.
First off let me say that I was one of the 120 Canadians on board last week amongst all the Brits. I think we had a fabulous time because it felt like we just fit in with the other passengers who were so friendly and easy to start a conversation with and we spoke with some several times over the week. Not like US passengers who sometimes wouldn’t give you the time of day. Maybe it’s was because the ship was smaller and you were in more contact with fellow passengers but can’t really say why we felt more comfortable on this cruise than in past cruises.
The show team/entertainment team are all young lads and ladies and very talented. They all sing, dance and act much more enjoyable than those entertainers on the larger cruise ships I’ve been on. The bands on board were excellent as well as the saxophone and the guitar and piano player.
The entertainment team got everyone involved around the pool and at night in the live room and venue room with quizzes, karaoke and other games.
I found this cruise to be the most friendliest from the crew, from the top down. Not one was ever without a smile and some took the time to have a conversation with you or asked how your day was going.
The food was good not what I expected. It wasn’t fancy but still enjoyable. Loved afternoon tea at 3:00 every afternoon.
I don’t have any complaints at all about this cruise and looking to book again next year.

Has anyone ever had their medications put into blister packs for travelling So you don’t have to carry so many pill bottles?
IF so did you have any issues with going thru security since your pills are not in the individual original pill bottles
Thanks for any info.

Hi will be on Discover 2 April 3 rd Cuban fusion. Not sure of the process once you fly into Montego Bay from Toronto. Do we retrieve our luggage go thru customs and then onto the coaches or is our luggage taken directly to the coaches off the plane.
Please advise.
Than you

:):cool:Thanks everyone. Lots of good suggestions

Hi for those of you who are type 2 diabetics what kind of cocktails or alcoholic drinks do you have on a cruise.
I have been recently diagnosed so not sure what is the best drink for me.
My go to drinks before were Miami vice and Mudslides which are out of the question now.
Thanks for your replies

We stay in Dania Beach at Comfort Suites Airport South,Cruise port on 19th Court s.w.
Pick up at airport. Free buffet breakfast and shuttle to port (not sure of cost.
Very responsible, very clean and great staff
There is a couple of restaurants across the street and Oakwood Mall about 10 min. Walk with K Mart for last minute items and wine. There is also several fast food restaurants in this area as well as other restaurants.
This is our go to place when we stay in Fll before a cruise

Hi
I have a few questions. Going on Cuban Fusion April 3rd. Flying from Toronto Canada to Montego Bay.
Once we land in Montego Bay Do we get our luggage and then need to go thru security. Then do we proceed to the coaches. At the ship do we get tags for our luggage with our cabin # on them if we alr day don’t have them from our TA.
After cruise do we pick up our luggage in cruise warehouse go thru security and then take it to coaches and then go thru security again at Montego Bay airport and then onto our airlines.
TA has not booked anyone on this cruise before and does not know the process so I am asking here for any information.
Many thanks.

Hi the site is Marella Cruises Discovery 2 from Britian
Delayed Flight To Canada
in Marella Cruises (formerly Thomson)
Posted
I’m on Discovery 2 Pride of Panama Dec 11/18 and my flight home from Montego Bay has been delayed until 3:50 pm. On Dec. 18/18
I know I can stay on ship but was wondering if the shuttles will still be available from the port to the airport later in the day or will I have to make my own arrangements to get to the port.
Also since Canadians have to pick up luggage in warehouse before we leave the pier and go thru security will they be ok left for a longer period.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
