Thank you, AspenRed! I do better when organized versus "freestyle," so I like the thought of separating the photos into categories. I could categorize, then decide on theme pages (like embarkation, around the ship, our cabin, etc., and choose the right photos from each category for each theme. Then I would plan each page depending on the theme and photos.
Does this make sense? I appreciate your helping me figure out the logistics since I've looked at all my stuff for two years with confusion.
That makes total sense. That is how I have been doing my scrapbook.

Hi, everyone! I'm definitely inspired to scrapbook, but not having done it before, I'm not sure where to start.
I have all the supplies, embellishments and albums, but no pictures printed. Do I print all my photos, pick my choices for the albums, then plan layouts? Do I pick my photos online, only print ones going in the albums, and then plan layouts? Or do I plan layouts, then pick the photos to go in those layouts?
It is intimidating to start something new, but I think your advice will help me get started.
Thank you for any ideas!
I think you could do it any of those ways. That is the great thing about scrapbooking, there is no right or wrong way to do it. Pick the one that works best for you.
I get the photos i want to use. Then I sort them into different events from the trip or by ship, excursion, etc. (You can sort them any way you want). Then I get all my scrapbook materials together. Then I start designing my layout.
Some pages I do a lot of journal and others I don't. It really depends on my mood and the pictures.
I am interested in seeing how other people do their scrapbooking.

Hi everyone! I am working on my scrapbook for my first cruise which was in October of 2013. It was a Backstreet Boys cruise. I'm having so much fun reliving the cruise. I am doing 12 X12 pages and Project Life/Albums Made Easy pages. I think it looks really cool mixing the two styles.
When I finish that I have to start on my second cruise, which was another Backstreet Boys cruise in 2014.
This summer I am going on an Alaskan cruise and I can't wait to take pictures.
Do you only scrapbook your cruises or do you scrapbook other things?
Do any of you use online stores to purchase items for your scrapbook?
I am so happy to find others who like to scrapbook. My mom scrapbooks, too. I try to scrapbook during the weekends. It's too hard during the week due to work.

Beautiful video. I'll be doing that tour in June. I can't wait. Your video has me excited.

I received this information in an email. I haven't tried it yet, but it's a 50% discount on the 8.5 hour tour! Wish I had had this discount last year ;)
Thanks for the info. I booked my this cruise.

My cruise on the Norwegian Sun also departs at 9:00 pm. from Seward. Roughly about what time, are you allowed to board the ship?

I bring a hole punch and punch a hole in my card. Then I hook it to a lanyard. I wear my keys at work on a lanyard, so it just seems normal. Plus that way it's always with me and I don't have to worry about bringing a purse or wristlet everywhere I go. If I have pockets, I stuff my key card there.

Congrats!!!!! So happy for you!!

Did you look into the Saurdough Lodging? It's looks like apartments. I think some have more than one bedroom. The pricing seems reasonable.

When I was on the Carnival Imagination last October, they had a kiosk where you could check your account.

Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

I save all my loose change for cruising. I also put a certain amount of money each pay in an envelope that is just for my Alaskan cruise.
I would love to hear more tips!!!!

I found the information I needed.

Thanks for the info. I am looking at NCL. I can't find the deposit info on their website.

This isn't my first cruise, but the one that I did was a charter. Sorry if I sound dumb, lol. My question is....when booking your cruise is the 250 dollar deposit for the cabin or is it person person (so each person has to put down 250)?
Thanks in advance.

On our last cruise my husband ordered Alligator Fritters.....I was unsure about them so I did not order them, actually our group of 7 others did not order them as well. When he recieved his order, we all tried a piece and they were excellent, so we all ordered them. This is something I would have never tried but was so happy I did. We leave on 1/30/12 for a "quick" 5 day cruise and I am hoping that they offer the fritters again.... :)
I tried the alligator fritters in October. I wanted to try something different. I agree with you. They were yummy!

Being from Western Pa, I like to make a nice salad and then got to the grill and add french fries and diced chicken to it. Here we call it a chicken salad and you can't beat it.
You can also add steak instead of chicken or jus add both!
I am from Southwestern PA and I agree that is a delicious way to eat salad. Now, I'm hungry for one, lol.

I loved the Imagination. It's the first ship I sailed on this past October. As a newbie cruiser, it was easy to navigate. The food was good and the staff was awesome.
My experience might be different as it was a charter cruise and not a regular cruise. I had a great time and now I'm hooked on cruising!!! :)

I am waiting for Alaska, too. Either June or July of 2015.

This has me curious also. The only cruise I've been on was a charted cruise, and I booked through a tour company. Now, I'm hooked on cruising. Always wanted to know which was better booking yourself or with a TA. Love that everyone is sharing. Can't wait to hear more.

It was so much fun. Got a lot of interaction with them. I think they are doing one in 2016. Maybe it will be in the summer and you can go. Glad you enjoyed their concert.
