  1. Thanks for taking the time to review. We are boarding the Eclipse for this same itinerary on Sunday and I appreciate your thoughts. Is your 3/10 rating for the ship primarily due to buffet issues, kids club and family pool hours or were there other issues that contributed to your overall rating?
  2. I have the same issue. Have tried several pictures, even tried rotating the original, still displays upside down:
  3. I guess it really depends on your risk tolerance. Late February is at the end of the "fog season" and it's not like there is fog every day, so you could probably roll the dice on the 2PM flight and the chances are you'd be fine. On the other hand, if there is fog, the port authority keeps the returning ships on the gulf side of the Sunshine Skyway, so even after the fog clears out (usually mid-morning), you have at least another 2 hrs before you arrive at the terminal. To Duane's point, if you have the schedule flexibility, and don't want to have to worry about re-scheduling anything, flying out the next day is a much more stress-free option.
  4. And if we had built the replacement bridge a little higher, I might not have to drive to Port Canaveral to sail the newer ships. 🙂
  5. I live in the Tampa Bay area. The months we see fog is fairly consistently December through February. Any departures outside of that time frame, you should be fine. If you are sailing in one of those months, it's always good to have a backup plan.
  6. We used it for our pre-cruise stay in Vancouver this year. Prices were a little lower than Expedia. The confirmation comes from travelweb.com, which is a subsidiary of Priceline. You pay the full amount at the time of booking, not 90 days before the cruise.
