  1. Night one dinner

The main Dining Room menu was the Mojo Menu but we ate at Chops Grill.

For apps we had Dungeness Crab and Shrimp Cake which was so good and I am not much a fish eater so saying that says a lot. Also had the Avocado and Yellowfin tuna tartar which I was not crazy about. The Goat cheese souffle was the best, I am not much of a goat cheese person because it has a sharp flavor but this was very smooth. For entrees we had the New York Strip and the Filet, both were good but I think the Filet was better. You can choose whatever sides you want they are served family style. Dessert was amazing, we had the Red Velvet Cake and the Chocolate Mud Pie which was out of this world and a must try.

  2. Just got off the Enchantment 4 day cruise the first of March. Has a GREAT cruise, the only complaint was that it was college spring break so the crowd was very rowdy however Royal Caribbean did a great job keeping them under control.

Boarding the ship was a piece of cake only took about 20 minutes, we used Park N Cruise which I would recommend again. Once we boarded the ship we book a clam shell for Coco Cay because they sell out fast then went off the lunch.

Food was great!!! The breakfast in Windjammer was good, they have everything from fruit, cereal, eggs, french toast, waffles, bagels, gravy, bacon, sausage, omelet station, pastry, pancakes, hash and hash brown. Also I recommend eating breakfast in the dinning room at least once. They have a small buffet and also eggs Benedict, better french toast and waffles then Windjammers and also they have a Chocolate them breakfast one morning so be on the look out for that. The lunch served in Windjammer was great. Each day was a different theme. As far as dinner in Windjammer they offer some of the main courses that they do in the dinning room as well as desserts. The best desserts in the Windjammer were the sticky bread pudding and the flourless chocolate cake on the last night. As far as snacks the Park Cafe offers GREAT sandwiches during lunch, dinner and midnight times. Besides the annoying spring breakers Dinner was good. We ate at Chops the first night and then in the main dinning room the next 3 nights. I will post pictures of the food later so check back for that.

Coco Cay was GREAT as usual. We booked a private Clam Shell on the private part of the island that comes with two bottles of water, fruit tray, and pick up for lunch. I have to admit it was nice to get away from the spring breakers and sit in peace, also the view was great. I will post a picture of that as well later.

Nassau was nice, I have been 4 times so it can get old after awhile but I looked into it before I left and found some new places to visit. I went to the Queens staircase, Graycliff Chocolate Factory, Rum Distillery, and the public beach located near Senor Frogs. The Queens staircase was very beautiful but go early if you want pictures because it gets crowded. The chocolate factory does a small tour for $10 a person which includes a small tour of the place and history and at the end you get to pick a chocolate of your choice. We had the chocolate with rum, key lime, peanut butter, and one with gran manya. The rum and manya was the best. The Rum distillery tour is free and also includes 3 tastings at the end.

Entertainment was better than I have seen on cruises before. The welcome aboard show was boring. The magic show was GREAT!!! Also the comedian was good and the last entertainment show was good, it combined a bunch of Broadway shows into one like Hairspray, Chicago, Little Shop of horrors, West Side Story, etc. Also the trivia and deck parties were good.

All in the the cruise was great and my family and I are even looking into booking the same one again this year. I didn't have time to attach the pictures yet but I will tonight soon check back.

  3. I am going on the Enchantment of the Seas in a week. I am going on my honeymoon and for a surprised I have booked a reservation at Chops Grill the first night. However I am kind of picky and was wondering if I wanted too would I also be allowed to ask for some food that was being served in the main dining room while I was at Chops?

  4. Make sure you call before you go and ask for a medical mini refrigerator. Not all rooms have them and they only have a limited amount to hand out. If you don't get one then you will have to keep your insulin in the medical department of the ship. My mom has type 1 and she enjoyed most of the food on the ship. She mainly ate light breakfast and lunch and saved herself for dinner but always kept an eye on her sugar levels. She also has a pump and had no problem getting onto the ship. However if you are eating at the late dine time make sure you get a snack before, my mom was not use to eating so late and had a very scary low one night, but the waiter was nice enough to bring her some bread and coke to help her low.
