Whats your karaoke song of choice?

Wide variety,! to include, Neil sedaka, some Tom jones, Elvis, Dean martin, etc, etc,. but probably song of choice would be " Don't "
by Elvis.

Wow, that's some trip.
Have a fantastic time.

Yes its something we try to do each year, since we both retired, although we had our Caribbean xmas cruise on the Oriana cancelled a couple of years ago, because of engine problems, so I can empathise with others in the same boat, so to speak.
Look out for me and Phil on the karaoke.!!

Great, many thanks for the info.

Glad you had a great cruise, sorry its so cold back here.
Does anyone know what the price of Benson &Hedges gold are, in the onboard duty free shop ??
-
Well Holland America is also owned by Carnival, so surely compensation should be the same for any complete cruise cancellation.
Unless there are other extenuating circumstances that we are not aware of, ( don't ask me what ) then I can see a legitimate right of complaint, for those concerned.
Remember " if you don't ask you don't get "
?? The fact that the passengers were in the main American, might have some bearing on it, they are so litigious .!!

The latest news is we will arrive in Southampton at 20.00 Monday. To avoid a storm that's going to hit biscay.
We will disembark Tuesday morning.
Does anyone know the price of Benson & hedges gold in the duty free shop at the moment.

Hi, Andy
Don't believe everything you read on Facebook etc, when anything like this occurs, the "rumungerers " always come out of the woodwork.
Having spoken to P&O today they confirmed that it is anticipated that ongoing repairs "should " sort the problem with the engine room distribution panel and the ship will be available for next Tuesdays cruise.
What does the song say, " accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative "

I really feel for the little ones, hopefully you can find something for them.

Hi, we are due to join the Ventura on Tuesday 17th Dec for a back to back xmas and new year cruise.
Just crossing fingers that the problems will be sorted by then.!!
So sorry for those that have had the previous cruise cancelled.
Apparently the people who are stuck in Tenerife will be getting a 50% refund.!!, not bad for a extra four days holiday.
-
Many thanks for all your replies, I hope our hotel has a large storage room as there will be nine cases in total.
We will also have to negotiate a rate with a local taxi firm, to and from the hotel.!!
-
Can anyone help please, we are thinking of going on the Ventura from 29th Dec 2019 to 3rd Jan 2020 and then joining the Aurora on Jan4th.
We would stay overnight in Southampton, does anyone know if its possible to leave our luggage at the port for the 24hours between ships.
Thanks

HI, Suzanne.
We didn't finish our "triple" cruise until the end of Feb, so unless we jumped ship we couldn't help, sorry.
One of the entertainment staff said there had been a meeting at carnival house, where it was decided to phase out all theme nights, leaving only formal and casual.
You may not have noticed but several other duties have been taken over by the "headliners" namely the choir and line dancing.
Were all off on another triple b2b, in a few weeks time, be lovely to meet up with the old crowd again.
-
On our recent cruise on Arcadia we were informed that "theme nights" were being phased out and only casual and black tie nights would be left.
Has anyone else heard of this, it seems a shame as 60s+70s / country ect, were good fun.
-
hi, has anyone stayed in C168 on arcadia.

Hi, I have consulted my trusty brochure [emoji4] D103 is on the end of a row of outside cabins but is an inside cabin. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the reply.
Apparently D102 on the opposite side is prone to a lot of noise from the anchor chain housing, just hope ours is not the same.!!
-
Hi, has anyone been in cabin D103 on Aurora.
It looks like an outside cabin, on the deck plan but as we were allocated a PF grade inside cabin, I am confused.
It seems as though it could be a problem cabin, would appreciate any help with this question.
Many thanks

Sounds like a plan, hope it not snowing.
-
We are going on a back to back - R621-R622.
That will hopefully take care of some of the winter.
Then off on the 8th of Feb on E702.

Does anybody know if P&O still operate a free shuttle bus to Blankenberg from Zeebrugge port. We would be grateful of any information on transport
from Zeebrugge to Bruges in early December.
Thankyou

We sail on the Oriana shortly and have been given a time of 3.30, much later than usual.
By the way has anyone stayed in cabin F110 on Oriana before.??
