Following along on your adventure😃. Headed out on the Glory in December
-
We were there mid-March last year, and same time this year. Last year it was so relaxing and peaceful, but this year it was really crowded, with very loud music.
I see you were on the glory did you book this thru carnival or on your own? Thanks

I know this is an old thread but I've been searching with these same questions, hoping someone has the answers.
Thanks:)

Loving your review doing this same itinerary in December. Can't help but giggle as you tell the tales of your adventure, your writing style is fantastic for a trip review:)

Were there taxis readily available when you got ready to leave or did you have to call to arrange? Thanks:)

On the freedom a few weeks ago we got pizza (Quattro formaggi) and top it with grilled onions and bacon from guys burgers toppings bar... Yummy:)

I put a limit on my girls ages 10 and 14 cards.. $25.. When they hit it the card stops working and I can extend it or tell them done, mine did great with it a few smoothies from red frog and that's it, never hit arcade they are not really into it.

The music was definitely different when the groups party started and there dj took over 12, when we first arrived it was more to my families preferences and what I was expecting, we had a great time there early and then we decided to check out the beach as it started to resemble my spring break days in college, which were some of the best times but I had a teenager and 10 year old with me who will learn all those things soon enough:) I figured on it being a little crazy too but we really wanted to check it out, glad we did early as we had a great time.

We were also on this cruise so excited to see your thoughts, we had a great time, a few bumps but still great:)
But debarking the ship was awful for us too..

I know in the past, and I cant remember if it was Carnival or not, but with BB you got a cup or mug that they refilled...Im guessing they dont do that any more? If you purchase a tervis tumbler at the red frog or blue iguana bar, would they fill that for you?
It's 4.95 extra for the big tumbler, well worth it for us so my kids could use them to take off to excursions too.. They charged me 6.95 for one for my 10 year old because she didn't want the soda package, she used hers for lemonade instead.

Wouldn't be practical for a male but we got ours at our local Vera Bradley for 7.00 and they are something I would use again, my girls keep there house keys on there's now.

Also my dd10 without BB always got her can with what was left so she could pour it in her cup as she drank it down and my dd13 with bb never got her can.

One of my girls (age 13) last week got the bottomless bubbles and one did not.. She never had a problem signing for her soda.. I told her to just leave all the lines blank and just sign and it turned out just fine.. My other daughter (age 10) did not get the bb because she prefers lemonade but she did 2 or 3 occasions grab a soda on lido and she just signed as well with no problems leaving the tip and total lines empty since they automatically add gratuity.

Having a lanyard made carrying sign and sail cards a breeze for my kids.. That way they never locked themselves out :)

Not a huge fan of burgers at all but I did enjoy Guys on the freedom, just never cared for five guys much, but everyone here in our area raves about them.

We definitely used those nice fleece blankets that you check out at the towel stand last week while sitting on the lido deck. Nice and Cozy[emoji2]

We really liked the 88 keys show on the freedom last week but everyone's likes and dislikes vary.

Just stayed at Galleryone doubletree last week for 2 nights before freedom cruise and had a great stay, perfect for exploring the water taxi, got it for $103.00 on the Hilton mvp rate.

We took our dessert to go in the main dining room on the freedom last week with no problems, they just give it to you as it comes out with the lid over it and off you go:)
