I'm thinking of booking this cabin as well and was wondering the same thing.....what is in the space across from this room?

Base price will be buffet only. MDR access will be an add-on premium.
I hope not! [emoji15]

Been on 20 and I couldn't either!
When you share a room with teenage girls, you definitely miss them!!

We just got off the Sunshine with a group of 14. None of us had a full length mirror in our cabin! We are used to a full length mirror inside one of the closet doors but there weren't any at least in any of our cabins on level 2. We've been cruising for over 20 years and have seen a lot of cutbacks over the years. It's sad to see things change and I am not one who usually complains but every time we cruise we notice more and more cutbacks. Also, no more chocolates on our pillows.
Although the changes may be small every year, what will cruising be like in 10 years from now?!

Thank you carey4612; however I'm not able to read the text on the picture. [emoji57]

I am going on Sunshine with a big group in a few weeks and everyone is asking me about the Internet programs. I remember seeing someone post a picture of the flyer in your cabin with all the packages but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone have a current photo of that flyer, preferably from the Sunshine?

Thank you to everyone for their good advice. I'm sure my friends one-year-old will have plenty to eat and will have a great time!

Thank you both for the information. I'm curious @hftmrock, was this information on the Carnival website?

We are going on Carnival Sunshine in a little over two weeks and my friend has a one year old baby. She wants to bring a cooler with yogurt and few other of his favorite food items. He's a picky eater so we were wondering if that was allowed. They will be in an inside cabin so I don't think they will have a fridge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you Lunar Blue!

When do you pay the additional $5 for the chat option?

If the app is free to download, when and how do you pay the $5 for the chat feature?

How much is the package that includes iMessage?

I appreciate everyone's feedback. I still would like to hear from more people who actually stayed in cabins 2250-2297 on the Sunshine. We are going with a group of 15 with 4 cabins right next to each other so if we move it may be hard to find 4 cabins near each other on a different deck. But it doesn't hurt to ask since we are still over 5 months out.

What cabin # were you in kimmimom?
-
Supposedly since the Sunshine has been refurbished, the cabins are more sound proof... This is what I've been told from my PVP. Is he just feeding me a line?
-
Anyone have first hand experience in rooms 2250-2297 on the Sunshine? Did you hear any noise from the Galley?
-
Just curious......can you order more than one entree/appetizer at the Steak House like you can in the MD?
-
Thanks for all the feedback. In a few days of joining this forum I've learned that you will be criticized, apologized to, have your replies deleted and found that there are some decent members who truly want to help and answer your question. It's been very interesting.
So why do some comments/replies get deleted? I spent my time explaining myself in a few paragraphs to find it deleted the next day? Just curious.

We are thinking of going on Divina in the Fall....never sailed on MSC but noticed their tipping policy says $12 per day pp and this amount cannot be adjusted except through the guest relations manager. Just curious if anyone has tried to adjust their gratuities and what they've experienced. Being that we've never sailed on MSC, I don't want to get stuck with the high price charged for tipping if for some reason we were not satisfied with our service.

What our cabin attendant did. . . and it's not good
in MSC Cruises
Posted
Wow I can’t believe what I’m reading! The EXACT thing happened to us on Mera 2/16 sailing. The cabin steward did the exact thing to us by bringing us in our room and saying the exact thing to us almost word for word as what@jkgourmet described! We too felt very uncomfortable and confused. This was our 17th cruise, first on MSC and never experienced anything like this. The cabin steward said he felt he could trust us and that he would get fired if anyone found out what he shared with us. We wound up giving him his tip in cash because we felt like he was putting his job on the line by doing what he did, so we believed him. He was an excellent cabin steward all week.
