  1. TBH we did not stick around for any other games - it is a cruise after all 🙂 But Miami usually plays early, and Craft Social is pretty empty at 1:00 PM on Sunday, so maybe we just got lucky...
  2. DH & I (long-suffering but still hopeful Dolphins fans) have sailed twice on Equinox during football season, and we were able to watch every game that aired during our sailings (3 games in total) at Craft Social. Miami plays twice during our next Equinox cruise in October, 1:00 PM the first Sunday and SNF the second Sunday, so I’m fairly confident that they will air onboard.
  3. This is very helpful! I too was under the impression that it was 90 days prior, but the app indicates check-in for our sailing opens on 08/31/22, which is 45 days prior. Thank you for this!
  4. Clearly morning math (without enough coffee) is not my strong suit! Thanks for the clarification 😄
  5. Correct, no corkage fee on bottles purchased onboard. I’m really just trying to compare apples to apples now that bottles brought onboard at embarkation no longer incur a corkage fee with the PBP. If I understand correctly, these are the points to ponder: a) the 20% discount is equal to 20% gratuity, so the price you see is the price you pay; b) multiple reports of supply issues making many wines unavailable; c) no corkage fee on bottles brought onboard with PBP; d) packing and protecting bottles of wine for embarkation can be a hassle. Maybe I should just take my chances with the available wines by the glass…
  6. I apologize if this topic has been covered. I understand that one of the benefits of the PBP is 20% off the price of a bottle of wine, with no added corkage fee. Am I correct in assuming that 20% gratuity is added in this scenario? I realize that there are many supply shortages onboard but I would like to have all of the facts in case I come across an interesting bottle. TIA 😊
  7. Thank you @topspot, this is super helpful! I found @Fishbone's excellent 2019 post very informative as well, but I was really looking for some post-pandemic experiences. Thank you both!
  8. We will be visiting the ABC's in October and would like to take the bus to Mambo Beach. I've found lots of info on buses to the beach in Aruba, but I'm not having much luck with Curacao. I understand that it is a bit of a walk from the port to the bus station. Walking is not a problem for us, just wondering how reliable and safe it is. Has anyone done this post-pandemic? Are the buses easy to find for the return to port? Any recent experience is greatly appreciated - TIA 😃
  9. There are several YouTube videos of SMB that show most of the old beach clubs have not reopened. This video shows what's left of RPBC at about 4:20. Coral Beach is open, you'll see it at about 5:15:
  10. So sorry this happened – what a disappointing way to spend one’s hard-earned vacation! Thank you so much for sharing your story. Your experience has given us much to think about as we approach final payment for our October sailing. The fact remains that, despite all of the precautions, covid is still an issue to contend with. Wishing you an uneventful trip home 😊
  11. We normally prefer a mid-ship cabin, but for a traditional veranda on E-Class it’s either a suite or a SV. Concerned about the noise coming from deck 14 or from Eden we chose cabin 10278 on deck 10 for our Edge sailing in September 2021. With cabins above and below, the location was super quiet. Our sailing was very smooth, so I can’t comment on motion in rough seas, but we had no problems with vibrations and very minor issues with soot. We had a partial overhang, which provided enough shade mornings & afternoons, with full sun mid-day. Although the back of the ship is tiered, I don't think it is as pronounced as on the S-Class ships. You can only be seen from above when standing at the railing. The balconies on the lower levels are deeper – we had enough room for 2 loungers in addition to the usual 2 chars and small table. All-in-all we were very pleased with our choice of cabin.
  12. Unlike Disney, it is not a pass to by-pass any lines. Express Pass is just what Celebrity calls their boarding pass. You need it to board the ship. Enjoy your cruise 🚢
  13. I realize that this post might be a little stale, but I'm wondering if anyone has had any recent success with transferring a FCC. DH & I had to cancel a planned sailing with our DGD due to her vaccination status, so we have a FCC in her name. Can we use her FCC for an upcoming sailing without her? I greatly appreciate any insight from others who've experienced a similar situation. TIA
  14. Ahh, the current pricing! There are plenty of cabins available, and after taking advantage of a price drop in April and another price drop in May, I’m booked at approx. $1,300 less that the current “sale” price for the same perks. The difference between refundable and NRD is $433. That's the kind of math I can do in my head 🤪 We're in a regular veranda cabin, and there are so many still available I'm keeping an eye out for another price drop. Thanks all!
  15. We’re sailing on Equinox in October 2022, which we booked a with refundable deposit. Final payment is due mid-July, so about six weeks away. I’m under the impression that I can change my booking from refundable to non-refundable, but all of the recent changes have me wondering. Has anyone done this recently? Is this still possible? How far in advance of final payment can I make the switch? Any insight is appreciated - TIA 😊
  16. This has been our experience as well; our online request always requires a follow up phone call. Agreed, not effecient at all.
