My boys have been on 5 cruises including Disney, NCL and Carnival. The more activities available on the shop, the better. We were looking at the Caribbean for this summer. Typically we plan a year in advance. Our last cruise was last summer in Alaska. All others have been the Caribbean. I just don’t want them to be bored or annoyed by having to really dress up for dinner.

Enterprise. We picked up at the airport and dropped off at the downtown location.

Tuesday was cruise day. I got up early to work out and got ready to get on the boat. DH dropped us off at the port, returned the car and then took the free shuttle back to the port. It didn't take long at all and the port wasn't very busy. We had FTTF so we got on board quickly.

The rest of Monday was pretty low key. We walked over to Chipolte for dinner, did laundry and repacked our bags in preparation for the cruise the next day. [emoji568]⚓️

Monday morning I woke up early, worked out and grabbed breakfast at the hotel. Today we were going on the Boeing Factory Tour. I highly recommend this tour. It was really interesting. The 45 minute drive was really nice as well. No cameras are allowed in the factory itself, but I was able to get some pictures in the main building.

After this we grabbed a quick lunch and decided to head over to Pike Place Market.

Loving your review and pictures so far. I especially look forward to hearing about the experience with teens. We are exploring Seattle and then going on a week-long Alaska cruise with our two boys, 19 and 16.

Later on we decided to check out the Space Needle.

We tried to stop for something to eat but everything was packed and we had a big party. We ended up going back to the hotel and ordering pizza. We conked out after that. Jet lag is a terrible thing.

So Sunday we started out the morning eating breakfast at the hotel which was pretty decent. The entire group decided to go to Seattle Aquarium. It was cute, but pricey. We should have gone to the Mariners game instead.

The views were pretty and there were a few good exhibits. After that we had a big lunch at a restaurant right next to the big Ferris wheel on the waterfront. I can't remember it's name. The food was really good.

I am a longtime member but have never actually done a trip report. I will try my best.

We are South Florida residents and tend to do an annual Caribbean cruise. We decided, along with our friends, to try something different this time around. So, Alaska it is. Originally it was supposed to be my family (myself, hubby, and two sons that at 16 and 12) along with their family of three (16 year old son) and nephew (18 year old). Then my friend's family heard about the trip. So her mother, brother, sister and 5 year old niece decided to join us. We booked in September of 2016. My mother in law found out how big the party was in January and decided to join us as well. She booked herself into an interior room on the same floor as the rest of us.

Our friends and mother in law flew nonstop from Miami on American to Seattle. We flew from Fort Lauderdale to Seattle on JetBlue. Had to stop in New York but the airfare was very reasonable. We left on Saturday, June 24 to have some time to explore Seattle.

The flight was really long. But we were finally close

Once we landed we got our rental car and checked in to the Holiday Inn Express City Center. The view from the room was nice.

We had a suite with plenty of extra space for my mother in law to join us.

On Sunday we decided to explore.

We were on the June 27 sailing this year. Had a great time. Definitely do Creative Cove. My son and I did the tote bags. I added some pics from our trip below. .

We took a $10 round trip double decker bus from the port to downtown. There was street performers on the waterfront that are fun to watch. Other than that we just shopped and enjoyed the sites. Very pretty stop even if it is short.

I didn't think that it would work. It was about an hour between transactions. Our deadline to pay in full is March 29 so I buy whenever I can. I have saved $450 by using these cards.

On Friday I was able to buy 5 $500.00 gift cards from Verizon. I went back and the $100 cards were still available so I was able to buy 5 of those as well which almost pays off our June 2017 cruise. They have been available every Friday for the past few weeks.

I was able to get the $100 cards last week, but they are now gone again. We have to pay our Alaska cruise in full the by end of March. I just check every morning.

We are looking at Dolphin Jet Boat Tours as well. We have a large party and their price per person seems to be the most reasonable.

Can't you drop off the rental at the pier prior to the cruise? I know enterprise has an office at both piers. Am I wrong? We are pricing this out as well. Between transportation to the hotel from the airport, from the hotel to the Boeing factory and to the pier, it seems cheaper to rent a car (we get a corporate discount so it is $125 for the 3 days) even with $20 a day parking. Am I wrong?

We will be doing Glacier Bay in June on the Carnival Legend.

Ocho Rios. We've done Jamaica twice. Try Blue Hole. Absolutely amazing.

We will be in Ketchikan for my birthday and I would really like to go ziplining. I have found a private tour for ziplining in the Tongass National Forest instead of through the cruise line and it is $80.00 per person cheaper. Has anybody done this excursion? I'd love some feedback before booking. We will be a group of 9 and they said that transportation to and from the dock is included.
