I looked at the card collection at my Kroger store yesterday. Found Holland-America and Carnival but no Princess.

    Tom

I checked Harris Tetter. Only had Carnival. No where on the card did it state i could use on Princess.  It was not an AX Carnival card I believe they will work with Princess.

if anyone has purchased a card at HT and it worked with Princess let me know.

    Thanks.

  2. Hi

We looked at a similar Z Air credit last year. When you look at the flight the fare is lower by the amount Princess offers. To confirm go to the airline site and book the same flight. It should be higher by the amount Princess is offering off air.

    Hope this helps.

  3. We loved the Ultimate Ship Tour. We are elite and had never done the tour. We were able to do the tour in February on the CB. The tour fills up fast! We had missed signing up on a cruise in December.

I have a food service background, my husband is a HVAC guy so we like to see "behind the scenes" to see how things work. For us it was great. We were were able to ask questions based on what we had happen on past cruises, (ie "asking for O blood for a passenger in need") to  gain more details on the internal happenings. There were approx 20 people on our tour. I am not sure if everyone had an understanding of what they were seeing based on the person's individual experiences.

We are hoping to sign up to do the tour on the Sky next year.

no what you are looking at is the medallion encased in the princess case.  The person bought the plastic clip from home depot.  All medallions come with the round medallion and the waterproof princess case

Thanks for letting him know about the border. Some folks when they receive their medallion - open the case and make their own border. The case snaps back together.

The plastic carry clip was being sold for $8 last Feb and even given out as a gift at the CC meeting on the CB.

I guess they couldn't sell them for $20.

We purchased a badge clip at Office Depot for $2.99. Also,  the jewely section of Walmart  has a large variety of badge clips. The ones we have work great.

Is the blue background part blue for everyone? I saw someone post an elite black background and was curious...

The blue background may be changed. You may purchase different backgrounds on board. You may also DIY. Simply, snap open. Use the border as a pattern on your favorite paper.

  7. Hi-

We have been on the CB twice and received new medallions each time. We have ordered our new medallions for our cruise on the Regal. We never used our cruise card on the CB. The medallion worked everywhere for us.

I went to Office Depot and purchased badge clips that work great for $2.99. See photo.

You just need to buy 100 shares.

It is not too late since I thought you said you are not sailing until December??

You buy the stock and then you fax in a statement from your broker proving you own the stock and they give you the OBC. Of course how you spend your investment money is up to you.

We purchased 100 shares in December - Thanks to a post on CC.  The posted recommend buying asap. We did. Stock has increased by $11.00+ a share plus we have received 2 - $100 OBC so far and more cruises planned.

  9. We were on the CB in February. They had all the above.  We have some dietary needs and Princess has been most helpful. Also, the chef will be happy to assist.

See below - posted on Princess website.

Princess is happy to meet your request for low-sodium, low-fat, low-sugar and vegetarian diets. Visit Cruise Personalizer® to indicate your dietary preferences.

In addition, kosher meals and baby food are available upon advance written request. Any other special diet requests must be authorized in advance by the Princess corporate office.

You or your travel consultant must advise Princess in writing of any special diet, allergies or medical needs. Requests must be received no later than 35 days prior to departure for cruises to Alaska, Canada/New England, Caribbean, Hawaii, Mexico, Panama Canal and Coastal Getaways.  For all other cruises, requests must be received no later than 65 days prior to departure.  Once onboard, please check with the Maitre D' to confirm your request.

Any special dining requests (name brands, daily food order requests, sample menus, etc.) not related to medical or allergy requirements should be directed to the onboard dining staff and is not handled by our Dietary Office.

I applied and it shows up for our upcoming cruise in March.  We also have a cruise scheduled on new Princess SKY forJanuary 2020 but there is no o.b.c showing for that one. Do you know if it shows up after final payment ?

I would follow up with your TA or Princess. My husband's OBC appears automatically. Went it on your file it should remain there.

    Thanks for your service.

  12. We just returned from a Princess cruise. The border  on the case was blue however all the medallions were the color of your status on Princess - blue, ruby, gold, gray and black. The border may be changed by the guest.

See photo. We purchased badge holders at Office Depot rather than use the lanyard Princess gives guest.

It means to a category that’s higher than yours so from a BB Balcony you could be offered a Mini Suite or a Suite.

Having that on your reservation doesn’t mean that they will use that. I’ve heard of people marking their cruise “No Upgrade” & they were upgraded anyway.

For or me it’s better than having nothing as they could move you somewhere in your same class & consider that an upgrade.

    Tom😎

    Thanks.

Is the OBC per person or per cabin?  If it's PP, does the stock have to be in both spouses' names?

It is per cabin based on cruise length - 6 days or less $50, 7-13 days $100 over 14 days $250. The person who name is on the stock account will receive. Our account is joint - so I can you either mine or my hubby's name.

If your willing to be upgraded only to the next category like from Balcony to Mini Suite, have your booking marked “Mita Upgrade” which means you’re only interested in the next higher category. I do this every time I make a booking. I do this every time I make a booking.

    Tom😀

    Hi Tom-

Will you discuss in more detail? What if you have an assigned cabin # BB Balcony? Does this mean only to a Mini Suite what about a suite???? Thanks.

Why limit your self to the Caribbean Princess when there are other Princess ships that are better anyway?

Try the Regal for instance & you won't be disappointed with anything.

    Hi

Yes, Princess has some great ships. We are on the Regal in April.  We select our cruises based on the ports. We been cruising with Princess since the 80's. We like the Pacific. Each ship offers a great cruise.

what do you mean ... "order your medallion ahead of time"?

We are not sailing on CB until Nov, but do we at some point have to order a medallion?  If so, how do we do this?  I have read some of the threads concerning medallion and am reasonably aware of its function, but this is the first I have read about having to order one.

    thanks for any help.

    Don

You should receive an email sometime in Oct with the details ordering and downloading the app. There will be a link in the email to a video that shows you the steps. Enjoy your cruise.
