When I received confirmation from HAL, that my AARP membership was accepted, the following notice was included.

Please allow 3 business days before making a new reservation to receive your AARP member onboard credit offer. Offer is not valid for existing bookings made prior to the validation process.”

I’ll be interested to see if anyone has success with an existing booking.

My pcc says it can be applied to existing bookings. I guess I’ll find out in about a week and a half since she said it takes about 7 days not counting weekends ans holidays

We board this week (Wednesday) in Vancouver. I was sure I had read somewhere on this board that HAL had a luggage drop near the check in area that you could enter from the street level so you didn’t have to go down the big ramp and wait in that long line and then go back up to street level to check in.
I can’t find that info anywhere now so was that just wishful thinking on my part?  Any info from folks that have departed from Vancouver recently would be appreciated. 😁

We have embarked 3 times in Vancouver and had to drop bags in the parking area down the ramp. There are elevators as well.

Thank you!  Bit nervous I’ve used Alaska for more than 25 years but with all the extra fees and Canadian exchange I decided to give them a try.

We are cruising a total of 33 days so the 2 free checked bags is a nice perk.  But really looking forward to the no middle seat on their planes.

We love the 2 seat rows and the drinks and snacks are good too. The cookies come from a bakery near our home, but I like the almonds better. The only problem with Porter is sometimes it is hard to get a direct flight to where we want to go.

Thanks -- that's what I thought -- frustrating that they are claiming otherwise.

I'm hoping someone can tell me about 3331/3332

You are welcome. I just looked up my parents cabin numbers. 3424 was renovated.  3374 was not. Sorry I can’t help with your specific cabins. But maybe some more cabins have been renovated since September…one can hope

  5. We were on last August /September. 3393 was not renovated. My parents ended up having 2 different cabins on our b2b cruise. One was renovated one was not both on deck 3.  Sorry I can’t remember their cabin numbers. At that time some were and done were not
