Generally how long does it take to get off the ship and then back on?

We will be in Grand Cayman for 7 hours...Cozumel for 9...just wondering how much I should deduct for tendering. Should we really figure on 5 hours for GC and 7 hrs for CZ?

I would love the Dolphins in GC and Tulum in Cozumel...hopefully I can get everyone on the same page. First time there for all of us and we're coming from 3 different states.

Any reason to worry if we don't go thru Carnival for excursions?

I've sailed Carnival twice but never with kids. My grandson is 9 and if I was to ever take him, I'd do early dining...you don't want to get their schedule/routine too much off track.

There are 4 ladies going to Grand Cayman and Cozumel in April.

No one is brave enough for Stingray city so I thought Dolphins! Well two don't want to do that either. It'd be a shame to split up, but how do you choose without anyone missing out??

First time in GC, trying to decide between 7Mile beach thru Carnival or do Royal Palms? RP site says private cabanas are only $100 per day.

To me that sounds like a better deal as there are 4 of us, so it's $25 each.

Anyone do the private cabanas before?
