  1. Unrelated but with 6 ships in port will it be tough to go to paradise? Thinking about making other plans.

There were three ships in port when we went and it was far from crowded. For sure stay away from mr. Sanchos with that many ships, that seems to be where everyone says they are going! Lol

  2. We are going back to paradise beach in March (just there on Friday and it was awesome!) without the kids and want to do some snorkeling. I think I saw tours you could take from the beach out to a reef for some snorkeling? Anyone have more info? Price? Length of time? I can't find anything on their website. TIA!

  3. Does carnival have a rasual sauna like Royal Caribbean does? Either on the breeze or the liberty? I can't find any info on it so I'm assuming no? Hubby and I were looking forward to giving it a try [emoji16]

  4. Sunscreen will do it, happened to me on Royal Caribbean. I went to guest services and they printed me a new one. I apologized profusely and they assured me it happens quite often. Sunscreen (and bug sprays) will eat away at gold tinted sunglasses too...found that one out with my husbands oakleys [emoji19]

  5. Yea, NCL rocks with the 24/7 food options. It really makes me miss that part of the ship when on Carnival. I guess we just need to adjust our timing with the food situation. While we like the pizza and some things at the deli, I just can't opt for that on a nightly basis for dinner each time. I just can't do it (although I was forced to pretty much).

I never really thought of room service. Don't that cost now? I was thinking when NCL changed their policy and started charging then Carnival followed suit. I just can't justify having to pay for the food. That's one thing that erks me.

Right. The pizza is good...but not good enough to wait in the huge lines to get. They are only huge like that because it's almost the only option you have. :(

Room service is mostly still free, there are pay options now available but I believe they are all things that were added on to the original menu. Might be a viable option for your next carnival cruise :)

  6. Where will it be listed if it's changed? I have a 7 day booked in September (which includes Cozumel) and a 4 day just to Cozumel book for next March (which would be a perfect cruise for a longer stay since it's our only stop [emoji2])

  7. We are booked on the March 16, 2017 Liberty out of Galveston (just to Cozumel and back) and when I looked at my cruise documents it said *overnight aboard ship next to Cozumel but it has our arrival at 7:30 and our departure at 4:30. So is that probably just a mistake? I'd love to get to stay overnight but thinking that's not the case...I did get excited for a minute there lol!

  8. We are going on the Breeze in September with a group of 9 including a 16 month old and a 4 year old. We decided to do YTD but now I am second guessing myself. Will it be an issue to get a table in a timely manner? Having two little ones waiting 45 min for a table and then sitting for a 2 hour dinner is a whole lot to ask of them! We would probably go about 7 or 7:30 on most nights maybe as early as 6:30. Any input would be much appreciated!

  9. how old are the kids? If they are old enough, they will likely enjoy the 4D thrill theater and the ropes course, in addition to the water park and the mini golf. There is also the dive-in movies, which are generally family friendly.

Thanks! My kids will be 4 and 12 so the older one will enjoy it all, the younger one will be able to enjoy some of it! :)

  10. We were just on the Breeze in early December 2015, and the sign clearly shows Diamond, Platinum & FTTF above the counter. We used it several times with no problem, don't worry. The above poster might not have noticed it on the sign, as we had a platinum member question why we were in that line since we were only merely "gold" members. Even after clearly pointing out the sign and the FTTF sticker on our sail & sign card, he still didn't understand. Finally another person waiting in line had to explain it to him (still don't think he got it). When I got to the CS she apologized to us for the man's rudeness and was very helpful. I have never had any CS treat me any different according to our current status vs FTTF. I will continue to get it until we reach Platinum status which is one cruise away.:D

    Thanks for the clarification [emoji2]

  11. On our last cruise only diamond and platinum got the short line at guest services. That was on the breeze. FTTF did not get priority at guest services

I would have raised the issue had I needed to use guest services. It clearly states that is one of the perks of purchasing FTTF! I'm on the breeze in September and we've purchased it and expect to be allowed to enjoy all of the perks! Hopefully it will be a non issue :)

  12. I don't know about the pride specifically but I know sometimes you have to call in to get cabins that are for more than the standard 4 people :) it's worth a shot! Alternatively, depending on the sailing it might the same price to do two interiors. I looked at an OV on one sailing I was pricing and it was the exact same price to get two lido interiors side by side! I would call in and ask for all available options :)

  13. I can answer some of this, even though I'm not T2C :)

T2C hi! Three of us are sailing out of Baltimore on our first CCL crusie. We will be driving form the DC area. I am disabled (mobility and severe vision issues). I have to use at least a cane almost 100% of the time. Our cruise docs stare that there is a 1:30 - 3;30 PM embarkation time. I do not see anything about a specific check in time though. Not knowing the CCL procedures for ADA passengers, we went ahead and bought the FTTF pass.

    1) I am reading this correctly that I just need one pass since the three of us are together in one cabin, correct?

Just one pass per cabin :)

    2) We will be dropped off at the port by a family member. Having the FTTF pass, what time should we plan to be dropped off?

Anytime you want, you are considered priority boarding and can arrive at your leisure :)

    3) Once we are at the terminal, is there a particular area or section of the terminal I should look for FTTF check in, screening, embarkation?

I don't know about this port specifically but there should be signs, maybe someone else can give a better idea

    4) How long after the scheduled arrival time back in Baltimore should I have pick up meet us at the terminal and is there a particular place designated for that?

    Thanks!
