We used the bus in May. It was $2.50 and like people said they don't give change. We went to 7 mile beach. It is a very safe beach you can leave your stuff no problem. Waved down a bus to go back to the ship driver said he was going the other way around island and then back to the ship, we had time so it was a free tour. You have to have a cover up on and can't be wet.

That has been the case for us in Florida

NCL was so kind (NOT) to book us a flight that arrives in JFK at 12:04 AM. Does anyone know what time and where the bus will pick us up?
Thanks in advance for the information.

Just to let people know with the 2 for one flight you don't have to fly from the same airport or even the same state.

Not true ... Europe maybe.
We received an email from NCL that they are dropping testing unless a port requires it

Last time we were on the Jade they had mens and womens free locker rooms with steam rooms and showers off the gym. Hidden gem, no one is ever in the women's side.

The rest of the world has moved on and accepts testing as a requirement.
Not so true, the rest of the world accepts vaccinations as a requirement. No vaccination then you have to test.

julig22 thanks for mentioning Azova, hadn't heard of them. Our group is from all different states so the bundle tests will not work. Now we just have to find a six year old to help us do the online chat part.

We have cruised 6 weeks this spring. No b2b passengers tested positive. Those of you who are worried about getting covid must not fly to the cruise or leave your house for groceries.

COVID test are 100% free at walgreens and CVS.
Not any more for travel

The covid tests for 4 people is going to cost us as much as taking a 5th person on our cruise. You can get on a plane, train, bus and probably a spaceship without taking a covid test.

Cruising has always been fun when planning a cruise - not so much anymore. The testing requirement is making getting ready to cruise very stressful. Covid is currently not raging in our area and Walgreens and CVS have stopped doing rapid testing and now are only offering the 48-72 hour PCR tests. Not going til June so still have time and my back-up will be IHEALTH proctored test. Was hoping this testing would be discontinued so my anxiety level would turn back to enjoyment. Anyone else no longer having fun.
I agree it is no longer a relaxing vacation. We booked a b2b and then found out the second cruise that stops in Bermuda is now requiring not only additional testing but a $40 per person fee even if you don't get off the ship. Not fair

NCL changed to Bar Harbor instead of Bermuda
-
CDC has Bermuda at high level 4. NCL is changing ports from Bermuda. Royal Caribbean should do that too. $40 per passenger is a lot of money for Bermuda even if we don't get off the ship.

HMcH did you like your tour?

Weird that unvax can test 3 days before and vaxed has only 2 days.
People can test neg. get on a plane and get covid from the airport. RCCL please drop testing.

I talked to RCCL and was told that if we book an excursion through the ship.the price includes the $40.

Does anyone know if you book an excursion through the cruise line does it cover the Bermuda fee and forms?

Have Norwegian taken leave? I have just read that on a two week cruise on Prima the menu will be the same each day of the cruise in the MDR's. Did anyone book their cruise with this knowledge? No, we certainly did not. Would I expect this if I was staying an expensive hotel? Certainly not.
The obvious reason for this is that NCL are trying to force people to use the speciality restaurants to enable us to get the choice we expect. This will increase the total cost of the cruise considerably, particularly, as has been discussed elsewhere, the prices of speciality dining venues have just been hiked considerably.
I am booked on Prima for September 2023 and it just could be my last NCL cruise. Or am I over-reacting?
You are not over reacting. We feel the same. It's getting to be like hotels that charge a resort fee.
-
Dinner menus will be like lunch MDR menus same choices everyday. I asked wait staff if there would be any changes I was told start at the top and pick the next one down each day.
-
This is our goodbye to NCL. We are sapphire and NCL keeps taking away things right and left. We will be cruising only RCCL and Princess from now on.

Does Grand Cayman require covid paperwork?
in Cayman Islands

The Cayman covid web site is confusing. Does Grand Cayman require cruise passengers to do online paper work?
