Excellent news. We join you in San Antonio. Hope that is the port that @cabinluvn meant.

Earlier this year on the Nieuw STATENDAM Rome-Amsterdam our 500 day medallion was left in our stateroom. I don’t remember if they had a mariners event but do know if they did we didn’t receive an invite. I figured it was just another cut back. We did enjoy the in person event when we received the 100 & 300.

Probably too late but I find a nice pinot Grigio with a bit of spice works well with foie gras

We have cruised out of Civitivecchia (port area) over 6 times. We have found that taking a private transportation service from Rome to the port being the less stressful method. I suggest searching post by @cruisemom42. She has so much info on visiting Rome from hotel locations, dining and excursion sites often missed by most travelers. We have stayed a number of times at the Lancelot Hotel which is in located 1-2 blocks from the Colosium and a number of small restaurants, shops, pharmacy within 2-6 blocks. Great family owed hotel with beautiful terraces and comfortable rooms. Have a great cruise and enjoy Rome.

Been fortunate to dine at the restaurant twice. Amazing meal, service and wine! We have done the dinner 3x on ship and enjoyed but would jump at the chance of another Cellar Master dinner of I think it was called Chef’s Dinner (?). It was limited to 12-14 diners. I sure miss them both.

Perhaps a water taxi

Was and will be an absolute YA if offered on our next cruise. Not as spicy as I like but very good. No discount on “special” dinner events

Hoping it’s an IT issue as we looked at 5 cruises and none showed crew appreciation.

You have to wait 330 days from the debarkation date in order to view/book HAL flight ease

If you add the 18% service charge you’ll get the same price

Seems as though they are checking mariners thoughts about boosters and if you are more inclined to cruise if they are required

Is the Amazon test medically observed as is required by HAL? When I asked I was told that the Amazon COVID-19 Test Collection Kit DTC is a direct-to-consumer, unobserved collection kit that does not include telehealth service or real time sample collection observation.

In the “past” they’ve been offered on cruises longer than 21 days. On our last 42 day cruise in 2019 on the Volendam it was not offered but 3 Asian/Fiji and New Zealand specialty dinners in the Pinnacle we’re offered. Of course there were a few cellar master dinners as well but no Chefs table.

Go to the 1st page of the Holland America board. On the top left side there is a drop down box asking which cruise ship . Put in cruise ship and you can see reviews. Hope this helps. You can also just hit the link in this area area for cruise reviews and then drill down from there
Oosterdam 31 day Buenos Aires to Ft Launderdale 3/5-4/5/24
