I want to surprise my family by decorating our cabin. But will it show in the cruise docs that I purchased it? If so, is there anyway that I can somehow prevent them from seeing it?
-
Do they show you whats on the menu in the main dining room that day on the tvs or by the restaurants ?
-
Yep, as noted above, shouldn't be a problem. Just tag all the bags you want to check, and BE SURE to keep your valuables, medications, and documentation out of the checked bags. Otherwise, you might have a wonderful photo opportunity of the ship leaving the port, without you!
"SKY"
okay ill be sure of that! Thank you kindly! Cheers to my hands being free!:)

Not a problem at all. My wife always gives them her carry on cause she doesn't want to hassle with it during embarkation.
my thought exactly! I didnt purchase FTTF so i didnt wanna lug in around? but what is my sodas are in the carry on?
-
Ports may be different but we have never had our luggage counted, sometimes we have 4 checked and they have taken my "large" carry on as well. Nancy
yay!! that is awesomeeee!

Hey guys ,i know that Carnival allows 2 suit cases and a carry on. My family of 4 is bringing 2 suitcases and 1 carry on in total. Is there anyway that i can give the porters the carry on as well so we don't have to carry it? just curious.
-
And you can also buy more and bring it on board from any port of call.
Wow! I had no idea! Thank you so much!:):):)
-
yay! thank you kindly:D

Hey guys, my family of 4 (2 cabins) wants to bring a 12 pack soda for each of us. To limit luggage we want to split the 48 sodas into two carry ons. are we allowed to do this?

The sky was looking somewhat threatening, and we knew there would be a good chance of rain. There was some sort of tropical disturbance going on and figured we would have rain. But on the other hand, we had heard that there was a chance the front could move slightly aside. You just never know about the weather. We decide to go ahead with the plan to go to Paradise Beach. It wasn't raining yet, anyhow.
We exit the ship and go through the port area shopping, not really stopping in any shops at this time. I figured there would be time for that later. We get a taxi and end up at Paradise Beach.
We were charged $3pp for use of the pool, beach area, facilities, etc. with an understanding that we needed to spend $10 pp on food/drink.
Chairs located, we parked ourselves. The guys immediately go into the water to use the toys.
You can pay for parasailing, jet skis, massages, etc. in this area.
oh yeah, tattoos and hair braids too:
Thank you so much for your review so far! My family and I are planning to go to paradise beach as well while docked in Cozumel. Do you remember how much was the cab fare round trip as well as how much passengers do they hold?
-
We are staying in that hotel in December for our cruise the 14th! Do you know how much people the shuttle holds, and how often they come? we're traveling in a group of 10 and i want to know if we can all hold.:)
-
No, you can not do that. The best option would be to pick a dining time. I'm going with a large group and we had a hard time with dining arrangements too. After much thought we picked early dining and linked our bookings so we can sit together:)
-
Carnival usually only price matches to prices that allow for you to pick your own cabin, so rates advertised as "guarantees" where Carnival assigns the cabin prior to sailing are not supposed to qualify. That being said, if you happen to get an agent on the phone that doesn't follow the rules, you might be able to price match to a guarantee (unlikely). Price drops that come prior to final payment due date can reduce your final payment amount, and those that come after final payment due date will be given as onboard credit. It pays to check at least daily. It is common for most price drops to come closer to sail date (up until 2 days prior to sail date). Hope that helps.
Thank you so much!! Im so thankful for cruisecritc! I don't feel like a first time cruiser at all:D
-
If you are Early Saver, you can apply for price drops up to 2 business days before sail date for any rate you qualify for...55+, Military, Interline, etc.
There is no limit as to how many times you can do this.
Wow! Awesome! Thank you kindly!:)

Hey! I'm a first time cruiser and I'll be on board the Conquest Dec 14th! I am early saver, and I found out about price drops/onboard credit on here, so thank you:). My question there was price drop from last week ("best rate", i think) and I received on board credit. Can i fill out the form again and still receive more credit if its the same price drop under the same rate? I hope you all understand:o

click on your name in this thread, you will see an option to "find all threads started by"

They weren't referring to you.

I would agree with that assessment. She tends to never reply even when questioned or called out on something. That and at 62,000 posts, might have too much free time. lol:eek:
Oh yea; lastly I have written 3 other posts and my reason for not responding is because i cant find them! lol. Please, I would love to know an easier way on finding my post then going through all the pages!
-
I don't know if she sails Carnival, but she never responds to her posts. Some have said in each and every thread she is a one post wonder!
As I stated; its my last semester in college. Not a lot a free time on my hands! To be quite honest i don't even know where to find the posts I write. i normally just go through all the pages! Is there an easier way? On December 14 it will be my first time ever cruising (conquest) so im fairly new to this. Again thanks for the responses, i'm going to bring my own granola :)

Lol! I actually do!;) Sorry its my last semester in college and its crunch time! I saw the responses via email but just needed the time to respond back. I truly apperciate the responses and I concluded that I'll just bring my own granola:)

You're more likely to be waiting in the sun if you wait until 11 to leave.
BTW...have a great cruise!
Yayyy! thank you so much for your help. Have a great cruise as well!;)
-
The hotel shuttle?
I'd just take a cab. They will take you when you're ready.
No, a private shuttle. We're traveling in a group of 10 so we had to opt on getting a shuttle. She said that we have to "wait outside in the sun" if we reach before 11 because they wont let us in... I made the shuttle pickup for 10:15 regardless anyway.
