So my cruise is 83 days out and got an offer to bid for upgrade.... wonder why when the date is 3 months away?

Great thanks I'll have a look. Yes i've skipped the club balcony as there are 'lots' of them still available and just put bids on a couple of haven options . If we don't get any we have a nice balcony room anyway but would be amazing 🙂

Oh yes I know you only get one... I'm just wondering if you choose more than one to bid on does that lessen your chances of getting the one you want? Anyway we've decided to bid on two as we would like either one (haven) but left the club balcony

You can't fail to make payment, they charge you as soon as bid accepted

So how does it work if you bid on a few different categories? How do NCL decide to give you a particular category? If I put a lowish bid for a club balcony and a lowish bid for a haven what have I more chance of getting you think... or would it be better just to put bid in for a Haven as that's what we would prefer obviously ?

Out of interest, what are the benefits of bidding on a few different categories? If we wanted the Haven suite but also bid on a club balcony room (just in case we didn't get the Haven). If you were successful on both how do they choose which one to give you?

$3000 x 2?? I thought it was your original cost plus your upgrade bid x 2? Not your original cost x2
