  1. You know with all these great photos during the build of this magnificent ship, my sister (who we are taking on her first cruise ever aboard The Escape) thinks I have the inside track or I know people who are building this ship. I laugh because I know where to get such great info - on this forum. Thanks for making me look more important than I really am.

  2. For all of us that can afford to cruise, whether it be one time in an inside cabin or numerous times in a suite, consider yourself very fortunate. There are many in this country/world that simply can't afford to even consider a vacation of any sort, yet alone the expenses associated with a cruise. My wife and I are taking My sister on her first cruise ever in February of 2017. She is one that can't afford a cruise as she struggles to make ends meet. Yes, we are paying her expenses. She broke down in tears when we told her.

As so many do on this forum, they bitch about the smallest of things. As you know, it's important to step back and count our blessings that we are very fortunate.

  3. Wow. We've never seen Howl at the Moon but after seeing all of this chatter and anticipation, I can't wait to see it. I've checked out their website and it says they are going to be on The Escape. We can't wait. We've sailed Princess and RCCL for years, this is our first NCL cruise and I am more excited to get on this ship than the two RCCL's that we have planned.

  4. Absolutely do an excursion...life is too short. You'll never know when you'll be back to a particular island...life throws us so many different curves.

As others have said, do your research and then spend the money for a memory of a lifetime. Our daughters are both grown with young families of their own but they can still remember our cruises and our excursions. Don't pass them up.
