We sail in 11 days...can anyone give an update?
How is this Tyler guy?
-
I'm on this same cruise and I would like to know too.
If it is Scott...who is Scott?
-
Thanks for the photos...we have (4) in the cabin and I just upgraded from inside for (4) to Balcony for (4). This is much better!
Yes, I paid a few hundred dollars more, but it's going to be worth it.
-
We've just come back from our first ever inside cabin, while I missed the daily sea views , I saved a ton of $$$. Yes, I would do it again.
-
Way too many!

Wow. Great stuff. Thanks for this. While we've been to Bermuda before many years ago, it's time to put it back on the list again.
-
For those that supplied photos...thank you. While my wife and I have done different cabins for many years. We will be taking my sister (and her granddaughter) on their first ever cruise on the Escape and squeezing four into an inside is going to be tight, but it's the only way I can make it work financially. Looking at the photos, I think we'll be fine.

When I booked my 2017 NCL cruise it was 19 months in advance.

You know with all these great photos during the build of this magnificent ship, my sister (who we are taking on her first cruise ever aboard The Escape) thinks I have the inside track or I know people who are building this ship. I laugh because I know where to get such great info - on this forum. Thanks for making me look more important than I really am.

Most of your are certainly ahead of us, we sail our first NCL cruise in over 500 days. We can't wait.
But we have two ahead of it on RCCL

We had a very nice young lady that addressed our every whim on a recent Princess cruise (in the Sanctuary). We tipped her $100.00 cash at the end of the cruise....and we both walked away wondering if that was enough. She was superb in every way.

552 days until our first Norwegian experience. We have sailed numerous times on RCCL and Princess. We are most excited about our first NCL cruise.

For all of us that can afford to cruise, whether it be one time in an inside cabin or numerous times in a suite, consider yourself very fortunate. There are many in this country/world that simply can't afford to even consider a vacation of any sort, yet alone the expenses associated with a cruise. My wife and I are taking My sister on her first cruise ever in February of 2017. She is one that can't afford a cruise as she struggles to make ends meet. Yes, we are paying her expenses. She broke down in tears when we told her.
As so many do on this forum, they bitch about the smallest of things. As you know, it's important to step back and count our blessings that we are very fortunate.

Wow. We've never seen Howl at the Moon but after seeing all of this chatter and anticipation, I can't wait to see it. I've checked out their website and it says they are going to be on The Escape. We can't wait. We've sailed Princess and RCCL for years, this is our first NCL cruise and I am more excited to get on this ship than the two RCCL's that we have planned.

Absolutely do an excursion...life is too short. You'll never know when you'll be back to a particular island...life throws us so many different curves.
As others have said, do your research and then spend the money for a memory of a lifetime. Our daughters are both grown with young families of their own but they can still remember our cruises and our excursions. Don't pass them up.

The photo that planefixer has posted is one of the best yet, you get a true understanding of it's massive size as the workers on the ship look like ants.
-
My wife and I are taking our niece on her first ever cruise in 2017 (The Escape). This is a great gift idea. She'll love it. I'm glad I saw this post.
-
We've sailed RCCL and Princess for years...about a dozen cruises on each. We've booked our first NCL cruise because of the value that I be believe we will get from NCL.
-
While the pricing strategies of the cruise lines is somewhat of mystery to all of us...I have always booked very early and have not regretted it what so ever. We have always seen the prices go up. And, if by chance they go down, I simply take the lower deal.
-
I commend them for keeping us informed about the Nickelodeon deal...it really doesn't affect me or my wife, but I like the fact that they informed us.
-
Way too many!!!
This will be our first time on NCL...we are looking forward to it.
-
Us too. We've sailed numerous cruises on RCCL and Princess. This will be our first on NCL. On The Escape in Jan. '17. A long way off, yet by then many will have sailed her and we will be able to get a good feel on what to expect.
-
I agree...just dreaming. Most of us have been to Nassau and would like something different.
-
We just booked The Escape. And our first time on NCL. We are looking forward to freestyle dining. I can't wait to read the reviews.
