Silverado and the Brunello
-
Wonderful - Thanks everyone 🙂
-
I just watched a video where they stated you can order an appetizer OR pizza and a Pasta OR Secondi (but not both).
Can someone confirm?

If you are dining at Onda on the speciality dining package, what is included?
Specifically, can you get a Pasta Dish, like spaghetti, AND an entree (secondi)?

I was on Escape last month, and like the OP I had the Premium Plus package primarily for wine. I had Silverado Cabernet, Veuve Clicquot (only available at Le Bistro) and a wonderful Brunello. I had Aqua Pana with every meal (in addition to the wine of course) In addition, I finished every evening with a Hennessy XO. All included in the package.

I am a converted RCI cruiser and now do NCL exclusively. Epic was my first NCL cruise, however Escape is a much better ship.

Just got upgraded from a studio to a family ocean view with a minimum plus $10 bid 😎

Been on both ships and Escape is a much better ship.

You’re too far out. I have an Alaska Cruise in July 2024 and I also only see one excursion. More will pop up as we get closer.

No comparison - Escape!
There’s a reason they never built a other ship like Epic

Thanks for the above wine list- was that the wine bar or in the MDR?
I must say, we’re super confused about this as well , cursing in April on Encore. Some posts on here claim that menus don’t indicate anymore which bottles you can have by the bottle with the Premium plus package but the above post clearly shows them still. Then again, some people say it was hard to hunt down French champagne while overall, it seems you very much can still get bottles of Veueve with your dinner.
What is it now? We’ve already paid the upgrade fee because we’re suckers of French champagne and over all biiiig drinkers, so that alone makes it a no brainier for us. Not too fuzzed about what brand exactly the top shelf spirits are, as long as I can get a few Single Malt Whiskies I’m happy. More concerned about French champagnes and the selection of wines by the bottle for dinner.
If a wine is available, you should be able to get it at Cellars or any dining room. If you have any problem, what so ever, just go to Cellars and tell them where you are eating that night and what wines you want and they will make sure you have it.

I was on Escape three weeks ago and while certainly some top shelf liquors have disappeared, I did not see any reduction in number or quality of wines offered.

If you like wine at all, make sure you go to Cellars and meet Dragisha, the Cellar Master. You will not find anybody on land or at sea that knows more about wine then he does. Also, if you have a chance to attend some of the wine classes - the best at sea!
Tell him Michael sent you and you will get the best wine service of your life 😎

My gripe was that NCL sent me at least 3 emails before the cruise making me watch that stupid safety video - only to get on board and find out we STILL have to do the in person drill 😡

You have to have a Thermal Suite Pass. The door to the hallway is locked and they have to let you in.

They do have a Starbucks on deck 6 in the Atrium.
Do not know if they take gift cards.
I had the premium PLUS beverage package and the Starbucks drinks were covered under the package.

I was just on Escape 2 weeks ago
1) No theme nights. They did have a “glow party” one night
2) I could not do tender reservations on the app. Had to use my in-room tv.
3) The dallies can be read on the app
4) NA - I stayed in a studio
5) No
6) I did not participate in BINGO

I was just off of Escape last week. In all honesty, the only shows you need to worry about are the Comedy shows at Headliners Comedy Club (which is limited to 2 reservations per person). You do not need to rush at all to make reservations for any show in the Escape Theater - but you do want to make reservations to avoid the standby line.

Is it true that on Antarctica landings, you are not allowed to sit down or put down your backpack?

I’m going with Albatros Expeditions next February. They traditionally have offered an overnight camping experience. Considering the new rules, is there a high likelihood that they will not offer this excursion on my cruise?
