I just got my Oceania package in the mail today. I thought the luggage tags were cute and an upgrade from the old ones (was on a cruise in February and we didn’t have them). I am sure they will have the old ones available at the port if you need them. I agree it took me about 5 minutes to get all the sticky stuff off but I’m retired so have all the time in the world 😉 I do wonder why most of the conversations on the cruise websites so often go towards how to dress and what to wear. Is it a coincidence that we don’t hear from the men?? Pants, shirt, shoes done. If you want to bring six suitcases full of clothes, go for it! Just one then good for you, less time unpacking. To each his own.

Sydney is such an easy town to navigate. If you dock at the further pier (where most of the smaller ships dock) then just take a taxi into town and explore. There are ferries that take you to Manly Beach, Toronga Zoo, …. Walk the circular quay, explore old town, walk the botanical garden, stop for an amazing flat white coffee. I would only take an excursion to the Blue Mountains for a day but we used a taxi who drove us all around the area for a reasonable price. There are no post cruise excursions but I have seen a note on the website that they do set them up for passengers who are continuing on. Enjoy this beautiful city!
