Our quote from Miami to FL was $94 and from the Port back to airport $80 - we were happy to pay this for peace of mind and having experienced last year the mêlée which was the Celebrity shuttle!

Did you feel like there were lots of different activities scheduled (especially in the evenings) or was the ship pretty quiet?

 

We are also sailing for a month and I don't care one way or the other about the personality of the CD but I DO care about how they schedule the musicians, etc.

Yes we feel the same on Equinox for a 3 weeks and our CD is Alejandro have heard good things about him

We used Larry's Limo for the opposite direction trip last year, Port of Miami to hotel on 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale, and have the same trip booked early December.

 

This reply speaks to the service encountered.

 

The price with gratuity is $102.00.

 

The service is outstanding--I use their chat service when booking; they send an email with all details and then you confirm the booking at that time.

 

The driver was excellent, the vehicles are sedans or suv's, and there was no negative to the entire process.

Many thanks that is so reassuring. We decided to book them from Miami to Ft laiderdale, hotel to port and port back to airport. Yes a bit more expensive than taxis uber shuttles etc but peace of mind and comfort when in a different country.

We have used Larry's Limo from hotel in Miami to Port Everglade. Great service and would definitely use again.

Good to know as coming from uk its difficult to know! We will be arriving quite late so wanted a reliable service

I haven't used them but I have booked with Larry Limo for 2017- Miami ti Fort Lauderdale and Fort Lauderdale to Miami. They were efficient polite and friendly

The three production shows on Equinox are Life, Elysium and Topper.

Darren Ridley comes from my home town in Devon- went to the same College as me ( executive Head Chef Eclipse)

Have a great time - we found the staff very accommodating in Blu you only had to mention the things you really liked and they magically appeared!

Do you know if you can order anything from the MDR in Blu. we have a larger group going but some like blu and others will not and we would prefer to sit together for dinner if possible

Which Equinox cruise are you on! We are on 10 and 20 Feb 2017. 20 we have the same problem but some are not aqua so we will eat in the MDR some nights and breakfast in Blu and maybe use Blu if the party are out.

We liked the table close together- we talked to different people but we weren't 'dining' with them! Breakfasts and staff so special

Can anyone tell me about the CD Jamie Petts?

The airport is 5.2 miles away on a busy M road. I think you would have to disembark by 6.30 at the latest, have a taxi waiting to be at the airport by 7.30 because of traffic! It depends on the latest time for your flight check in but it would be prudent to allow 45 minutes from cruise terminal to airport especially on a work morningmaybe not sp bad on Sunday!

And we are wondering if anyone has come across Nigel - he was in the Sunset Bar on Eclipse last January/February- never forgot anyones name! We are on Equinox in February 2017 and anxious to know who is CD

Thanks GNN, will be on Equinox in little over a week for its TA.

 

The main one I am always concerned with is CD. If it's the same Alejandro, we had him on Solstice about 5 years ago on a Western Med cruise. What I recall is I liked him, wife considered him so-so.

We are on Equinox for the Mardi Gras cruise February and are hoping for a really good CD. They can make or break a cruise!
