We were offered a nice upgrade on an April sail date. I know they don't show specific cabin #'s til 1-2 weeks prior to sale date. My ? is when I go on HAL's site as a newbie, I see very very cabins available in this category. Do they account for the guaranteed cabins, even though their is no room assignment?

Only experience with the hydra pool is on the Eurodam. How does the Koningsdam compare to that?

We are doing a European cruise this Spring. Besides our issued cruise cards, do we need to bring our passports with us while we are visiting the ports?

We sailed the Eurodam in the past. We are sailing the Koningsdam soon. Does anyone know if they still hand out the coupon books. Most things were useless, but we did make use of the coupon for the hydro pool and heating beds. TIA

I booked a trip from the Cvit to rome airport for $58 total thru Costco.

Can anyone recommend a walking tour of Monte Carlo? And/or has anyone done the hop-on hop-off in the city.

Anyone book a private excursion, i.e non-HAL and end up missing connections with the ship? If so, how was it handled? A little concerned about booking long excursions thru a private party.

I just booked a AAA/Costco ship to airport transfer for a very reasonable price. It leaves the port at 9:30AM for a 1:15PM flight out of FCO. Hope that will be plenty of time to catch our flight. It was less than half the price of the ship's transfer. Any thoughts?

Having sailed on only one other HAL ship (Eurodam), how does it compare to Konningsdam? Sailing in Europe this Spring with Konningsdam. TIA.
