I might wear a coverup like that for embarkation if I added some capri leggings underneath (just to cover my rear for the wind factor). :D

Your guys look great! Congratulations!

I always carry a cardigan with me in either black or white and I think I am also going to bring along a blue jean jacket (*gasp* I know...) to go over my less formal dresses for my upcoming cruise.
As for the thyroid thing, I have mine checked regularly because I did have an issue with that postpartum and it has been normal ever since my daughter was about one. I've just always been a cold natured person.

I would not recommend it. I tried that when I was in a hurry one time and it scorched my shirt.

Exciting times! I'm counting down the days until we get into the double digits right now.

I am most looking forward to a little down time with my hubby and our friends. A little sun and sand is just icing on the cake!

We had one bad experience with another couple and unfortunately that has made us want to dine alone. I suppose you could always ask to be seated alone if you didn't enjoy the people you were seated with the first night if you did want to try it out.

Genius! I'll be stealing this idea. Thanks for posting!

Three pairs of shoes:
1. nude heels
2. tennis shoes
3. flip flops

DD was 6 on our last cruise and she wore mainly sundresses to dinner on non-formal nights. Just be sure to bring a sweater or jacket because the dining room is chilly.

Fellow thrifter here. I love someone complimenting me on a dress and being able to say, "I got it for $7.50!" :D

Thanks for posting all the pics! Can't wait to see it all in person when we set sail in May!

I do dress to impress my husband.
I don't really care what anyone else thinks. :D

These aren't super dressy, but I was pretty excited about the deal I got on them. I just picked both of these up at Maurices for $10 a piece!
I also picked up four other casual dresses to wear during the day time. My total was $45 for all 6 dresses!! Woo hoo!!

Here's the one I bought for an upcoming wedding and the cruise that will immediately follow:

I have never tried it , but I have also heard that Milk of Magnesia is an excellent primer for oily skin that will not aggravate it if you are also acne prone.
I just heard of that myself and tried it for the first time today. So far, I'm not impressed. My t-zone was still shiny by mid day but I'll give it a few more chances before I chunk the bottle.
Do You Lock Your Suitcase?
in First Time Cruisers

We use zip ties as well. If you do not have your luggage locked in any way, if the cruise line wants to search it, they can. If it it locked, you have to be present for the search. I just like knowing that no one has been in my stuff, even if it is just clothing and toiletries.
