Noticed this on CruisePlum today and thought I'd spread the word in case anyone could benefit or find value.

This alert pertains to the following sailings for Eclipse

8/4/24 - 12 night TA from Cape Liberty to Reykjavik

8/16/24 - 12 night TA from Reykjavik to Boston

We're outside of final payment date for these sailings so any price adjustments to current rates should be honored.  93 days out for the 8/4 sailing and 105 days out for the 8/16 sailing.

This mostly pertains to the Retreat rooms, but pretty much any other category is priced lower than has ever been offered for these sailings, so it's worth calling in to see what price difference there may be.

Most significant drop is for the Sky Suites for both sailings. Around $4000pp for an SS, which isn't a crazy good deal, but for this unique itinerary, it's a decent price.  What's a really good deal is the $5,521pp price for a RS on the 8/4 sailing (currently it's the lowest price per day RS available on all Celebrity sailings).  There are currently 3 RS available on that sailing.

Anyone with active bookings on these sailings should take a look at what money they can save by repricing or potentially upgrading your category at a lower price.  Happy hunting, and act fast because these prices won't be valid for long.

Thank you very much.I am thinking about this.

Happens to me all of the time. I either have to clear the history, amd if that doesn’t work, I use chrome.  Never a problem there.

Me have the same problem for quiet a while now.The person that works on i-lounge did take a picture of it while I am on a cruise and hopefully they are looking into it.

When we went to check in for our first cruise as Zenith last month on the Constellation in Tampa we were a bit hesitant since the sign stated "Suites" and not "Suites and Zenith". We walked up anyway and asked, and they let us through.

    Sorry duplicate previous post.

    You will love this suite.

I’ve been fortunate enough to book twice (once on the Marina and once on the Riviera’s maiden voyage).  Threw some great parties there.

Yes as A SOLO cruiser I like the pricing but the ship is too SMALL and OLD for me.

Thats is the reason why I never step foot on Celebrity Millennium class ships

I am looking at Cunard Ann. That ship fit me much better.

I love the cruisers who book suites for a couple of months each year. Especially with the hefty price increases.   They helped raise the stock price to over $120 a share.

Well those suites are subsidized from the dividend of the stock price of RCL.LOL

There is nothing not to like Celebrity if they offer you free WIFI, free Laundry and free Premium Drink Package.

Thank you. That would be better than no water. However all suite guests get the premium drink package so to it makes no sense to not have an included premium beverage in the Retreat.

Remember some from the Move Up Program do not have Beverage package.

It is unfair Celebrity punish the PBP customers

We are in the Iconic on Beyond in 2 weeks. If it’s the same there I might drop by the lounge when the retreat hosts are working, call our butler and have a vitamin water and bottle of Evian delivered to us in the club…..

Terry any decent Scotch in the Retreat?

Where do you have to go to get water for your SS if you can’t get it in the Retreat

News Flash Celebrity Cruises to install luxury water fountains in the suite guest only Retreat Lounge………

    cheers

I think they still have the regular bottle water just not the premium.Feel sorry for those have premium drink packages.

For me I use coffee Al Bacio for my premium water supply.

  8. Tipping is optional at Specialty restaurants.Do what make you feel comfortable.

There was one time I tipped 100% because it was a FREE mail.

I like to take care of my crews members and Captain Club Host that make arrangement for my dinner.

Thank you. I knew about the laundry but not dry cleaning...good to know. The others you mention are listed on the Celebrity site. I am inquiring about anything not on the Captains Club Zenith benefits list such as being able to use the suite line at check in as long as it's designated on the sign "Suites/Zenith."

Celebrity is not doing their job right. They should have a SIGN showing Suites and Zeniths ONLY instead they put up a sign Suites ONLY.

The sign is very confusing to Zeniths.

Once I reached Zenith most the cloths I sent in was Dry Clean only.

Do not feel bad not to be recognized of  your next milestone.I wasn't recognized either as a Double Zenith.

I ordered the beef brisket.   Now if United can serve a hot meal that is tasty and hot both in the center as well as the plate.  Why can’t Luminae.    It was tasty.

I don’t drink but here is the wine list and of course no up charge.

Noticed they had Whispering Angel that many have been speaking of.

Also Duckhorse on the cart but not on menu’s

I think is Duck Horn a very nice wine from California.Much Much better than you get from Celebrity De Coy.

Hi Jim. I really enjoy reading about your travels and love your photographers eye. We met briefly on an October 2021 Pacific costal cruise on the Millennium. It was my first cruise post pandemic and I recognized you so I said hello and gave thanks for your excellent contributions to CC.

My impression of the Edge being off is similar to yours and, while I will be on the Ascent in January, I am looking forward to my S class sailings more.

I sailed the Edge Oct 2022 and it turned out to be my least desirable Celebrity ship. Why? Too much noise in the dining venues including Luminae. Too many suites so the retreat is not as intimate and unique as M and S class ships. The retreat lounge is like an airport lounge rather than a nice social gathering space. We were in a RS and prefer the RS on the S class by a long shot. The S class RS is 40% bedroom/bathroom and 60% living space while the E class is the opposite. Two light filtering doors between the bedroom and living area does not add to the privacy between rooms that a suite should offer. The chairs by the window look cute but really are not comfortable for me. Then the lack of a door between the bedroom and bathroom?  Sure, the toilet has a door, but to me one of the advantages of a suite is the extra space that can be utilized if one person wants to rest or sleep without being disturbed. Oh, have you hit your head on the TV yet???

Many posts have said that if you want the Retreat experience, sail on the E class ships because of the sundeck and forward views. I disagree and I am probably wrong as far as what most desire. I will say that the modern aesthetic may look nice, but I prefer function over form. As for service it is easier to give special attention to 4.5% (S class) of the passengers vs 12.5% (E class).

Sorry for the long winded reply. Have a great trip!

There are a few things missing here the EDGE compare to BEYOND

The RETREAT LOUNGE does not have a bar.

The WORLD CLASS BAR is not there.

The MOROCCAN SUNSET BAR not there.

IMHO if you have been on BEYOND you will never want to go back.

Thanks... Will be interesting.    Many on  a World Cruise Tread on Facebook were very verbal about problems in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Into and Our of India.

The crew really is doing the job the best they can but have no control.   MANY passengers didn't have Visa's, Arrival Cards ETC and then were blaming the staff.  The crew really need a hug.

Yes the crew was doing the best as they can. Thanks to the whiners we got a few hundreds back from Celebrity thought most things happened was not their fault.

The ship has way to many B2B cruisers that Celebrity or the immigration could managed.

Great -  When working in Singapore for a couple months I was staying at the Westin which is across the street from Raphael's .     It was in the 90's and Raphael''s was being renovated -  The roof had been removed and I would watch daily as they were putting in the current swimming pool.

Swissotel is a nice place and great location.

Tallest hotel in South East Asia

I love the restaurant at 68 floor (I think)

have booked the harbor view room at US 470/night with breakfast included

    Hi Jim

I believe it’s Raffles Hotel,,,you should have tried the famous Singapore Sling in the Long Bar,,,only $26.

    Enjoying your travel……

It does make me wonder  Raphael's Hotel.

I will be in Swissotel The Stamford next to Raffles Hotel next month showing my Spanish friend around in Singapore.

Apparently not all are having the same experience as you.  It seems there was Priority embarkation and disembarkation, at least for Retreat guest.

You do realzie that immigration is beyond Celebrity's control?

I do not understand what you mean by shortages in WiFi?  are you talking about spotty coverage in various places on the ship or are you talking about the WiFi being slow because thousands of guest are all trying to use it at the same time?

Wow there are a few did hold Celebrity accounted for without knowing much about the Indian immigrants rule and the licensing of starlink WIFI  with Indian government.

Celebrity teams were working very hard and try to have a smooth immigration process but just because of a few bad APPLES we were delayed sailing out of the last Indian port for at least 5 hours.

That is incorrect.  There is no refund on any aspect of the fare, so the remaining guest has therefore paid for 2 people.  They are entitled to double points, and they will get them from Celebrity.

    You are absolutely right

i get double points when my the other half not able to cruise with me.

You are on a new ship, the Apex, where there are entirely too many sky suites.   If even 50% ordered room service breakfast, the staff was overwhelmed.    Celebrity has generated this problem by having too many sky suites and not enough staff.    I didn’t realize that Zenith cruises also had access to the special seats in the theater in addition to the Retreat Lounge.   Do they also get fee room service.

Love coming back to the Zenith lounge.  For all long time Celebrity Cruisers, from Elites, to E+, to Zenith: We were there at the beginning.  All suite guests (I know you are paying for the privilege one cruise at a time) are still welcome to join long time occupants of Michael's Club and beyond.
