Welp, our bubble tour to Blue lagoon island just got canceled out of Nassau due to weather. Know it was stated in the contract we signed that it could happen, but still a little disappointed... Not because it was canceled. The other tour that was walking ahead of us, that was also bubble but included a dolphin encounter, left. Not 2 minutes after they walked off, we were redirected to go back on board. They did offer half off another bubble excursion in Freeport, but I've been to that beach and its not that great. We'll make the most of it but only so much we can do with a 2 year old since all the programs are shut down.

We're currently on board the Carnival Legend and my wife went to get coffee yesterday afternoon and saw a bunch of crew members waiting around a machine in the middle of the Lido deck. Lo and behold it was a self serve espresso machine! Thought to myself, is it something that Carnival has always had and I've totally missed? We haven't cruised for 3 years so it might be new. From what I can tell it can do an americano, decaf americano or hot chocolate.

I'm currently on board the Legend. As of our cruise, 2-5 ocean club is not open. Everything else is for vaccinated passengers only

We have a 1 year old and leaving Sunday out of Baltimore. Bubble tours are required in all our stops except for HMC. We are doing blue lagoon bubble tour in Nassau and staying on board in Freeport.

I disagree. We got married on the Magic in 2018 and it was pretty easy. They have planners that help out with everything. The only thing we didn't like is that we had an embarkation wedding and everything seemed rushed. Other than that, it was amazing and VERY affordable.

They don't explain about all the obscure documents you will need, until after they have taken your $$$. Take my advice and find another way to get married. Especially if you have been married before or are a widow.

We were about to book a day pass for our Christmas cruise and read on another forum that they were closed. Unfortunately the resort for a day website isnt updated. Here's a news article on the closure

We paid about the same. Cost add up quickly. Total for cruise, embarkation wedding with 20 guest, hotels, car rental, excursions, decorations, photos, etc. we budgeted 6k each, 12 total.

Hi all. Reading the paperwork, it says a private dinner is included. Does anyone know if its going to be at the steakhouse?

Where did you guys get his tux from & the cost of it, if you don't mind me asking. I went in and questioned at Men's Warehouse, I think that's the name, close to 2 weeks ago. She took my info down & said she had to talk to her boss about it, that she would call me back in 24-48 hours and I have yet to receive a call. We should look into the prices to purchase as well, compared to renting. If it's not much of a difference we might as well buy too. Are you getting married with Carnival, or another line?
We went to men’s warehouse last week and was quoted $400 and up for a week plus $20 per extra day(we need 2 weeks) Buying was close to 1000. We then went to a local bridal and tux shop and was quoted a little over $300 for everything, $500 to buy but limited selection. Shop around, you can definitely find better deals than men’s warehouse

What Carnival ship has portholes in aft cabins?
Oops. Ment Windows. It was one of those extra big corner rooms with 2 big windows.
Didn’t mind the motion, but the vibrations from the engine were unbearable.

Ncl has some crazy last min solo deals going on right now for dec. $339 and up for 7 days. 499 for a 15 day? wish I had the time.
-
I booked a similar room a few cruises ago. It was first and last time booking a cabin near the engine. After not sleeping the first day, I went to guest services and was lucky enough to change from a port hole to mid lower interior. Lower aft rooms worst rooms on the ship.

I was thinking of doing the same, but decided to make it more personal and ask her by the tire swing she loves to go on right after Sunday service at our local church. We’re planning on driving up to port Baltimore right after the 10am Sunday service. Will be an interesting drive up and more memorable start to our vacation.
Less than 2 weeks till our trip! Excited!

Read online that the Victory didn't have them in their rooms. Cruised a month ago on her and apparently they recently added them. Wouldn't be surprised if they upgraded all ships to have them.

So I went up to the front lido buffet to refill some water and the juice machine showed orange juice! Now I'm confused.. I'll ask them later this week to see if there's a difference between the two. Time for a alcoholic bev ;)

Tang! Yum! Lol! No, not quite.. It's like they made a generic drink to try to taste like OJ but it's not quite there.
-
Was on the lido this morning on the Glory and grabbed what I thought was OJ. Tasted funny then looked at the label and it said Orange Drink. Am I wrong or didn't carnival have real OJ in the past? Could have sworn I saw OJ on my last cruise just a few months ago.

I thought Fly2Fun came with flight protection..
"Fly2Fun PROTECTION
When you book Fly2Fun you automatically receive our complimentary flight protection. This offers protection in the event you experience travel disruptions resulting from weather conditions or other flight delays that cause you to miss your ship on the day of embarkation. We will make the necessary flight, hotel and/or ground transportation arrangements to get you to the next port of call on time at no expense to you. In other words, we take the worry out of air travel so that you can enjoy your vacation as soon as you leave your home. This benefit applies to both our Flexible Fare or Restricted Fare products."

Oops. Mistakenly wrote Breeze. lol. Ill fix the title.
Edit: Well it looks like I cant fix it. No edit button.. Oh well..
Wanna fight? J/K ;)
I once almost got into an altercation with a very drunk patron on the Freedom. He was cursing and yelling at my favorite bartender at the Alchemy Bar for cutting him off. He was almost to the point of being physically abusive. I went over to intervene and had a nice chat with him. He decided to stumble away to the Casino bar, to get another drink. She thanked me after.

I'm on the Legend right now heading back home. Getting.35 down and.30 up on premium. If you are talking about remoting into a pc, don't expect to get any work done until you stop. We have ATT and got the international day pass added and I was able to get LTE speeds while in Nassau, HMC and Freeport.
