Has anybody received any message informing about recalculating points/status for new Costa Club ?

I am starting next cruise with Costa on Sunday this week and do not know if have old or new status (recalculation will upgrade my status comparing to the current one).

One more thing about food and drinks: I was on Costa cruise 3 times, last time in Sep 2015 and had no problem on any of my cruises when taking onboard bottles of water or coca-cola. Bottles were not opened-security man sometimes (but not always) looked for that. With food have no experience.

You had better check but I thought that Future Cruise Credits could only be bought while you were actually cruising.

I think about next cruises with NCL so that is why think also about FCC.

As I know it is worth 250 USD and could be used to pay for deposit of the next booked cruise.

I am from Europe and buy NCL cruises using its website. On website all prices are in EUR, not in USD.

Does anybody know how FCC are recalculated from USD to EUR in such accident ?

Yes, there is minibar fridge in the room - full of bottles and cans:-)

They are opening it after registering credit card/payment of deposit in cash and closing in the evening the day before arrival to last port.

Has anyone traveled on this ship recently?

I disembarked today in Savona - after 14 days cruise from Hamburg.

I could confirm that during our cruise there was no gala nights - think it could be related to open-sitting dinners on NeoRomantica.

During last week in other topic about neoRomantica it was said that dinner buffet is available every evening on all "neo" ships of Costa. This information I also received from PCC on other Costa ship so it is sure.

On the other hand, when I was on Pacifica and Luminosa during last year, alternative buffet was also available in ports where we spent night (f.e. Istambul) during first evening and in ports where departure was really late (after 10pm - f.e. Southampton).

So now it is clear: MDR neoRomantica has open sitting and there is alternative dining in buffet.

On the other hand: is any gala dinner organized in MDR during neoRomantica cruises ?

I was on Luminosa cruise in May and heard from PCC that "neo" ships will have open sitting dinner but I do not know if sb can confirm that it is working now. At the moment I think about NeoRomantica cruise and would be nice to know the answer.

I am really sorry but cancelled TA segment of cruise when NCL cancelled Panama part, so we will not meet on Star:-(

I had collected for you some maps and useful materials for visiting Krakow but unfortunately will not be able to share...

I will travel on different ("last minute") cruise with Costa - from Savona to Stockholm and will be also in Amsterdam and Copenhagen - only one day after Star visit in those ports.

Thanks for the input. Expedia got our flight refunded and booked us on a later one so now we don't have to rush! I think we will take the NCL excursion that drops at the airport.

I am travelling from LA to Copenhagen, so plan to attend both M&G - during Panama and Transatlantic segments. My cabin is #9576, see you soon:-)

I had a 3 pm flight booked from Copenhagen to Krakow and the airline changed it to 11 am departure. The ship docks at 7 am on May 11th, anyone think I can make the 11:00 am flight if we walk off? We are Platinum so we will have priority debark.

I see that we are on the same cruise - NCL Star from Miami to Copenhagen. I cannot answer your question but because I live in Krakow, I could help if you have any questions about the city. I decided to stay for one day in Copenhagen and returning home next day (on 12th May).

On website http://www.trenitalia.com/ you will find schedules on dates you are interested in. For today it was: 7:19; 7:34; 8:01; 8:42... (regional trains only) and some intercity trains between.

It is really easy and fast to travel from Civitavecchia to Rome - train is going very often, it takes approx. 1:15 (to Roma Termini).

Tickets you can buy in machines located in railway station building - cost is few euros (one way), please remember to validate ticket before entering train. For few euros more you can buy combined ticket which is valid also in all public buses/metro in Rome.

On parking where shuttle buses from cruise ships are arriving, there is stop of public bus which is going directly to railway station in Civitavecchia (cost 1,5 EUR, going very often).

At check-in I am planning to give my credit card but I understand that OBC will be used first ?

If I do not use full OBC, will be the rest transferred to my credit card/returned in cash or lost ?

Does anybody know if NCL is planning to expand test of MB charging internet from Breakaway for another ships ? Maybe you know any results of this test ?

In my opinion MB based plans could be more interesting than current - basing on time.

It is probably connected with ship of Oceania Cruises - not Costa.

Does anybody know if Star after dry dock will count internet by minutes like so far or by MB like on newer ships ?

Dry dock is planned in Feb/March 2015.
