Hello, This was one of the very best cruise Reviews that I have ever read, GREAT JOB! We will be on the Getaway Jan. 17th, 2015 and I wrote down many notes from your review so that we can make the most of our cruise......can't wait! Question for you, how can you tell where the bed placement will be? We will be in a Mini-Suite on 11. Thanks again and Happy Holidays!

Hello, Just checking to see if you were able to do the tour with Stanley this past week? How was it, and more importantly, what did you see and how long did you spend with him? We have booked with him for January. Thank you in advance for the info. mjcatlvr

Also, free drinks are iced tea, lemonade, coffee and hot tea. We are big water drinkers so we also took a case of bottled water. We just zipped it into a duffel bag and put a luggage tag on it. Delivered to our room with the luggage. Great tip I picked up from Cruise Critic!

Regarding the unfinished bottles. If you are in one of the MDR's or Specialties, they will either hold them for you until your next meal or I saw several people take the bottle back to the cabin.
Also, it was common to see people leaving the cabin with a full glass and heading down to dinner.

Hello, Regarding the bottles of wine. As soon as we left port, a table was set up in the Atrium with the wine selections and prices. If I remember correctly, we got our 6 assorted bottles for about $15 each. They were delivered a couple of hours later to our cabin. Nice set up. We enjoyed our wine on our balcony.

Hello, 1st time poster. Have been on 3 cruises myself, but it has been "forever a go", so treat me like a first timer. Traveling with Husband, 2 sons (22 and 19), MIL and FIL. We will be celebrating our 25th ann. and the MIL and FIL will be celebrating their 50th. First, will our cell phones work on the ship for texting each other to coordinate dining or shows etc? Or, is there another way to communicate? What about WIFI? We are planning on not going with the dining package since after review of the menus in the free dining places, it seems that we will have plenty of choices each night. I have seen some comments here about folks not getting a seat, what times would be best for us to get a seat? Our excursions are all set for all ports except Vancouver. What should we do there? And what about Seattle the day before, as we will have the whole day. Thank you in advance for your help.:)
Stanley tour review

Just an FYI. We booked early on with Stanley (direct by phone) for our private tour for this past week (NCL Getaway). First ones off the ship and excited for our tour but no Stanley. We looked and waited for an hour then called his direct number several times (no answer and no VM). We then called Secret Harbor directly and was patched through to Stanley himself who told us that he would be unable to take us. Wish that we had known earlier as we could have come up with an alternate plan. My advise is to confirm with him.
