  1. You will receive what you booked or higher. You will not receive an assignment at the pier. It will be made by a day or 2 before. You can verify the assignment by logging into your personalizer and looking at bag tags/travel summary/boarding pass if its within 5 days of the sailing. Those will have your cabin assignment on them.

This cruise has been sold out for almost 1 year.

Come join the roll call! :)

I will disagree with the part about getting assignment before sailing. While it likely to be true, I once had to wait till I got to the ship to find out my cabin assignment. You print blank luggage tags and they will look up your name on a list when you turn them into the porters and write your assignment on the tags.

  2.

Taking a Mediterranean cruise on the Royal Princess next year, and have the complimentary AIBP. If you purchased the Coffee Card, you are able to include gelato with that card. Wondering since this package includes all beverages priced at $10 or less, and includes the same beverages as the Coffee Card, if gelato would be included too. An article from the Cruise Critic, stated that any food items usually included with the Coffee Card, like crepes and gelato would be included. Since I haven't noticed any postings confirming that, I would appreciate hearing from those who might have experienced using their AIBP to purchase gelato.

Gelato is not included with the coffee card except as a punch on the card just like the specialty coffees.

  3. Is this info up to date? Can you bring soda, water, and 1 bottle of wine/champagne per person? Also, can you non-alcoholic drinks on at ports?

For embarkation, it is correct. In port it will depend on the ship staff and who is checking what you bring on board. I have brought alcoholic and non on board at ports. That being said. I have seen people stopped. All you can do is try?

  4. There have been quite a few here on CC that this happened to as well as a sweepstakes/entry for Princess that locked many out of their accounts as well. :(

My wife had this happen as well. She doesn't have a hotmail account so it isn't related to that. She did however enter a Princess contest and this is apparently what triggered the change. I would say the issue was with Princess IT rather than hacking an email account.

  5. Can only speak for me

On Princess I think the main thing the maître de is looking for is your dressed presentable. Casual for me is either kakis or nice pair of jeans, collar golf shirt and dress shoes. On a formal night kakis, button up dress shirt top button open no tie and dress shoes.

Enjoy your trip I love the southern Caribbean.

Dress code will be determined by the waite staff. Last year one of our table mates came on formal night with dress shirt and coat, and was sent back to get a tie. On our last cruise, I think I saw someone in a t-shirt get in. So, ....
