  1. Wow- maybe I am easy to please. I'm shocked to hear some of the reviews for RC food. We are diamond with RC and have never tried another cruise line. Our food in MDR has always been outstanding. We love it. The service couldn't be better IMO. For example, the last 2 we went on Warm Chocolate Cake was not on the menu.....we love this dish for desert .... The next night our waiter had in for us made special. It's the little things I guess. But we could not be happier with the food.

  2. Hello all! Just curious, we are booked on the Harmony In a few months. This is the first time we have booked a guarantee but the price was more reasonable.

That said, are there a lot of obstructed views in that category and are they likely going to stick us in one with an obstructed view? Does anyone know?

We are diamond class in crown and anchor, not sure if that would be considered. Thanks in advance for any insight....

  3. Sorry if this is all ready listed somewhere but I couldn't find it. Last time I pre purchased the select package as all I really want is the beer and a glass of wine occasionally. Is it cheaper or more expensive to wait till you get on the ship? Or is it the same? I heard that crown and anchor gets varying discounts on some ships but not for sure. Going on Allure again in June. Thanks for any insight you may have.

  4. Have cruised out of San Juan 3 times in last 5 years. Never a problem with the Taxi. Always felt safe and doesn't take too long. Don't do the transfer, it will be a bus, you will be waiting then waiting some more and after you wait a little longer you will finally leave for the boat. Loading and unloading and collecting bags is all a mess. Tell BIL to have a drink at the airport and relax.

  5. The reason it went from free to a reasonable amount is because of the kids. Teenagers were coming in regularly and ordering everything they could and leaving most of it. Not to mention the rowdiness of the teenagers was making it unpleasant for other guests. It was extremely wasteful. Our head waiter told us this on the Oasis a few months back when talking with him. While I want kids to have fun, no point in wasting food.

  6. Sports Bar? We have been on the Allure and there was a sports bar in the promenade. I don't really care but this time we have about 10 people going and a few gentlemen love their sports. I didn't see one when I searched the deck plans. Just curious...thanks in advance for your comments.

  7. For most cruises we usually get to the terminal around 11am. They usually board around 1130. No problems waiting around earlier if you wish. Cable beach is about a 10 minute bus ride from the port. Its perfectly safe, done it several times. It's gorgeous. Lots of fun. There's also Atlantis right by the boat where you can take a water taxi to. There is a fee to spend the day there but it is totally worth it. It's amazing. It's a waterpark with a very nice beach. The hotel is worth a look too. We generally eat on the ship mostly but if you haven't had conch try it. It's the island specialty, and very good. You can buy it at several stands around the port. Make sure you go to straw market. As far as dining I would call or email now so they can put a note in for your request. I've never had a problem in the past. Bon voyage. Have fun
