  1. Just curious, have cruised several times but have never paid to have cell service on the ship. That being said, I was thinking of ways to communicate on ships with my kids and others in my party. Any ideas? Do walkie talkies work at sea?

  2. Any RCI Freedom class or Oasis class are off the charts for kids or teens. I have a couple teenagers myself and they can't wait to go back. 7 days of heaven as far as they are concerned. Worth every penny. There is also plenty of adult things to do. These ships are nothing short of amazing. ( Diamond member with RCI) trust me 😄

  3. RCI is a different class imo. Hence the reason they are priced a tad more than Carnival. I have tried both and quite frankly, I will never waiver from RCI again. The perks for coming back ( diamond member with RCI) are outstanding. RCI is a lot cleaner and the food is outstanding compared to others. The Grandeur however, is the vision class ship. One of the smaller ships in the fleet.

You will enjoy it but once you have ventured on the bigger ships it's hard to go back, for me anyway. The entertainment, food and service is first class.

  4. Also, it's good to know to not get too hung up on the price. What I mean is, you can book the room you want and in most cases as long as it's before the 90 day final payment you can get any price reductions or discounts up till then. Provided you monitor your booking closely(each day) to see if the price changes.
