Looking for a nice beach but have limited time.
We did Goff's Caye last time and enjoyed it.
Looked at doing Caye Caulker but the timing only really leaves us 2 hours, seems like to much running around for 2 hours.
we are in port 8-5pm, if we tender in on the first tender at make the 9am water taxi, get to Caye Caulker by 10am and have to leave on the noon water taxi to be safe.
Need help with what else we could do here!
thanks

You have had better luck than me!
I was to get $100 obc from my travel agent, not a discounted rate, same as the rates that show on NCL and I have been denied by $100 stock holder obc because I already had $100 obc...this makes me mad.
This is why I purchased it, they did offer the steak for 2 but it has not shown up yet.
Frustrated!!!

Hi We are going to be taking our 2nd NCL cruise on the Pearl and I purchased some stock to get the $100 on board credit for a 7 day cruise.
I already had $100 on board credit (Dash) for the type of booking my TA booked for me and my TA said I should also be able to get credit for the stock.
Now magically he doesn't remember this conversation and I have purchased the stock and am told I can't have both....why? I have booked MANY cruises with the TA and feel like perhaps out of principle he should make up the difference if I really can't have both.
We "double dip" as they are calling it on Carnival all the time the on board credit is not one or the other. We always receive both.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks

Totally agree, cut those off that are not acting civil!
Pretty lame they don't offer it because it is "Spring Break"

@Kazbar - I envy you with all of that vacation time! I am thinking that we would only have about 12-14 days if we are lucky!
What is the best way for us to experience Australia for first timers?
When I look at the ports of Call for Carnival is that like going to the Caribbean for us in the US? Would we see a lot of Australia by cruising or would we be missing out and just get beach type days?
We like a mix of history, culture beach and just absorbing what life is like wherever we are.
What do you think?
-
@Kazbar - we have never been to your side of the world:) I am feeling a bit overwhelmed with what to do first...cruise or a land vacation!

What ports did you visit and did you like them?
Is it a different type cruise with Australians? I have done European so I know what to expect there, just curious!
The site is horrible for researching the carnival.au

Thinking about sailing out of Australia and searched to see if I could find anything about it but no luck.
Has anyone sailed from there yet? Any insight would be appreciated.
I know they make some changes to the ship when it goes into the Aussie market but I am not sure what those changes entail.
Anyone?
thanks

Hello Danish Viking - thank you for all the information.
We are on the Carnival Legend in July and have a few questions.
1. Where do we dock and what is the best way to reach the city center? Does bus 26 work for us too or is that the other terminal?
2. We have 2 families traveling and are trying to decide what to see and also to make it fun for the kids. (kids ages are 9,11,13).
I was thinking that we would try to see some of the city the Old Town Square, Nyvan and here is where the question comes in....
should we go to Tivoi (if I have converted correctly it will be $52 per kid riding rides and about $18 per adult just to get in) and spend a couple of hours or should we just pass by and go to Amalienborg Palace or others?
thanks

Anyone know if the Cheers program is going to be available on the 12 Baltic Cruises this summer out of Dover?
Not sure that I would get my money out of it, but just wanted to know if we had the option..
thanks

Sailed with Bob Berhalter on the Dream over Christmas and he was a pleastant suprise! It has been quite some time since we have enjoyed the piano bar and he was a real treat!
There seems to be less and less entertainment options on Carnvial these days so I am glad he was fun!
-
Hi Laura - glad to see you are still supporting the piano bar! We haven't spent as much time in them on the last few cruises - hoping for a fun one on the Conquest.
Anyone know who will be taking over for the 3/25/12 sailing out of NOLA?
Thanks

I couldn't tell from the photos of the newly modified 9a divider if the cabin in front of it 8462/8469 will still be a typical "L shape" with a bit larger balcony or not?
Anyone traveling in this cabin 8462 or 8469 before 12/19? if not I will take some photos. Would love to see some photos of the room and balcony.
-
Karen - I am not at my home computer - but I think there a lot of photos on webshots.com.

I have been watching this thread with interest since we are in 8462 on Dec 19th. We always book these "L shaped" cabins for the size of the balconies and did so over a year ago.
I am a little concerned for when they officially move the divider of the 9a wrap next door if our cabin will remain a larger balcony like what they show the map and like on all other decks and like their other conquest class ships? I get it why the 9a's are upset but I hope they don't completely screw this up and shrink ours too small.
I am also wondering how they will re-size the room everyone is talking about on the 9a's - does that mean that make our room smaller?
I have sent a note to my TA - so I will have to wait and see.
Can't wait to see this new ship!

Has anyone had William? That is who we are scheduled to tour with and I haven't found any comments on him?
Also - we want a tour of the Island (don't really want to see the monkey's or the Iguana farm) what else should we see for those of you who have gone?
Thanks

Hello - I can't wait to look through all these pages as we are going on the Legend in October.
Does anyone know who is in the piano bar right now?
Also how is the nightlife?
Thanks much!!
What to do on 2nd visit here?

Our itinerary says that we are in port from 8am-5pm.
Do you think that the 1:30 taxi is too risky?
Who else would you recommend if Coral Breeze has gone down hill?
We can't do Cave tubing we have grandma with us.
