Sailing on a four night Reflection cruise in May 2024. Have several questions: 1. Which night is the formal night? Is there anywhere the four night main dining menus are posted? 2. Suggestions for Marriott properties near Everglades cruise port for pre-cruise stay? 3. Suggestions for restaurants in the. cruise port area (casual, waterfront)? 4. Can someone describe the embarkation process (particularly time required to stand in lines - bad knees)? 5. Where is best key lime pie in Key West? 6. Suggestions for Key West tours - any boating, dolphin watch? Thanks for your time to address questions!

I had the same problem booking a reservation for 5 at the Crown Grille on Discovery. I contacted Princess - they also could not reserve for 5 even though reservations for 4 were prevalent. Princess rep advised that I book two reservations (one for 3 and one for 2 a) at the same time. Once on board you can go to the restaurant to let them know I you want the party of 3+2 seated together. Sees a bit inefficient for all - will see what happens. interestingly - I was able to book Rudi’s the Catch for 5??

Would love to do the ultimate balcony dinner. Cruising on Discovery in early May and worried it will be too cold. Any thoughts?

So followed up with our travel agent, who advised to call Princess. The Princess customer service agent could not book a table for 5 and advised to book tables for 2 and 3 and contact the maitre’d once on board. So we now have two reservations (table for 2 and 3), which we will cross our fingers we can combine! Seems a bit ‘round-a-bout’ but we will see what happens!

Have been trying to book a reservation for a party of 5 in Crown Grille for May 2024cruise. The app indicates no reservations for 5 at anytime during the week. Yet there are unlimited reservations at all times for parties of 4,3 or 2. Does the restaurant not have tables for 5? We booked two reservations for 2 and 3 and hoping to speak with the maitre’d once we are on board about combining the 2,3 for a party of 5. Any other suggestions?

We had an aft cabin on Celebrity when they went to Glacier Bay years ago! It was absolutely fabulous viewing!

What are the hours for the laundry. Are they open when in port? Thanks!

Booked for May 24 - and have all our excursions booked. I would book as early as possible. Popular excursions or those that take a limited number of people sell quickly.

Historically we book a year or a little more out for Alaska in order to get cabin, ship, itinerary we want . Alaska is a favorite cruise - agree travel agents hold cabins for booking. Good luck - you will love cruising Alaska!

Traveling with my husband and adult son. We are in reserve mini suite. Was told that we could only book plus for two of the adults in the cabin and could not book plus for the third by our travel agent. In several posts there is discussion of being able to book plus for the 3 rd person. Can anyone clarify if you can book the plus package for a 3rd adult in the cabin? Thanks.

I am a Hoosier transplant to Georgia - so never got used to the syrup (smiles) they call tea down here - always unsweetened with lemon!

Will be traveling to Alaska out of Vancouver on Discovery Princess in May 2024. Have several questions: 1. We have priority boarding. What does this entail? Have bad knees and standing for an extended period/walking for more than 3-4 blocks is problematic. Any suggestions for embarkation from the pier would be appreciated. 2. We have booked two reserve collection mini suites. The rooms are not connecting - but can they connect the two balconies? 3. Do they have lemon for iced tea in the buffet area? 4. Do any of the restaurants serve grapefruit juice for breakfast? 5. Suggestions for attire in early May in Alaska. Thanks in advance for taking the time to assist with these questions!
