All RCI ships have US-Style 110V and European Style 220V sockets.

Thank you. It is certainly not a big deal. My wife loves her fresh brewed coffee when she gets up and RCCL always had much better coffee than the syrup type served on Princess!
I hope that she likes her coffee black as I believe that the UHT milk ruins the taste - no matter what sort of coffee it is!
-
I used to be indecisive - now I'm just not sure.
-
Just to complicate your calculations a bit more don't forget to factor in all of the on board sales - drinks etc etc.
-
For us it would have to be
The Viking Crown Lounge
The Schooner Bar
The Spa
-
Unfortunately it's all UHT milk - ruins the taste of coffee!
-
We've always been asked if we want tea or coffee at dinner.
-
Much, much safer than taking them all ashore!

The planning and the anticipation
The first view of the ship
The first drink
Unpacking
and pretty much everything else on board!

Should be interesting

Agree, and I believe you were first to coin the HOTS acronym. Not even sure RCCL saw that one coming, but its a good one! Only way they might do better is if they came out with a Passion of the Seas. ;)
If we are going down this path how about Yearning of the Seas?
-
We normally only have 4 or 5 drinks a day each on board (which includes 2 or 3 during the happy hour period) so the packages have never appealed to us from a cost perspective. Therefore the discount would need to be fairly significant for it to be attractive to us.

My doctor said that cruising will be good for my sinuses all that salt water in the air will help them recover.
See cruising is good for your health. Wondering if as the cruise is for medical purposes if I can claim it under Medicare & private health insurance? Lol.
Sounds like a great idea !!

We're doing the following:
17 April - Rhapsody of the Seas - 16 nights Sydney to Singapore
3 May - Rhapsody of the Seas - 14 nights Singapore to Dubai
23 May - Explorer of the Seas - 3 nights Zeebrugge and Le Havre
26 May - Explorer of the Seas - 8 nights Norwegian Fjords

What would be the chances of waterslides being retrofitted onto the Oasis and the Allure?
-
If they just added the Park Cafe breakfast and lunch offerings to Cafe Promenade, and kept the almost 24 hour access, it would be perfect for us.
I'll second that.
-
There are no plans for a Park Cafe in any Voyager or Freedom class ship.
That's disappointing!
-
Just to put things in perspective re rough seas. The Rhapsody is currently just off of the Queensland coast heading through a Category 5 Tropical Cyclone (Hurricane)! All is supposed to be fine though.
-
We probably averaged $60 - $70 a day for the two of us but since hitting Diamond (and getting the Happy Hour ones in the DL) it has dropped sharply!
-
We're also sailing in late May (23rd and 26th). Definitely hoping that they put a Park Cafe in.
-
If that is Seattle's Best then I would hate to try their worst!
-
We're on her not too long after she comes out of dry dock so looking forward to seeing her looking "spick and span", and with the extra dining choices.

From an Australian's perspective it is not very good at all.
Will cruise leaving Sydney 18th March still go to the pacific islands?

I guess there is a lot to be said for travel insurance!!!
