Good Morning: I noticed recently that your kids had what I believe will be a room the same as we have booked on the Freedom. Ours is above it 8357. Anyway, I was wondering if they had a table. You cannot see it in the pictures.

I'm thinking I should post one of those pictures of you in a bra on the front door of the RCMP office, or maybe I should just keep a copy of it in my car in case you ever decide to stop me for something.:D

Hi Mike: Just curious to know how you felt the experience was starting your cruise in cooler waters. We have been hesitant to sail from up north because a big part of the reason we sail is for the sunshine. Did you find the first day or so felt like you were just waiting for the real cruise to begin?

So I was standing in line at the grocery store this morning and lo and behold guess whose picture was staring up at me. Great article. A friend of mine went through training about a year ago and is now posted up north. I know being separated for the six months was not easy for the man and his wife, but when he returned they were thrilled to be starting their new life together. Best of luck to Tracy.

If you use this website you will find some of the information is blocked except to members. I took the effort to join and has been well worth it. Not expensive at all.

Congratulation Tracy and all the best on your training. We recently had a friend who finished his training and is now stationed up north. Curious to know how they would place you afterwards. Would they allow you to serve in the same community?

I am sure there are no excursions there as such, but in Freeport we went Gold Rock Beach as part of a kayaking excursion. No amenities, but I am sure one of the most amazing beaches in the world. If we go back to Freeport someday I expect we will try to taxi to the beach and spend a few hours. It was practically deserted.

Thanks for the wonderful review. I throroughly enjoyed it all. OK, now that the fun is over we need you to get back to work, so those of us in your fair town can feel safe again. I can't imagine how you had time to work and keep up with this thread. Seriously, thanks for all the hard work you put into this. You gave those of us who have a long wait for their next cruise something to dream about.

Guess I read something wrong earlier. Thought I read that you were from Caraquet. I guess it was another poster. To be honest both you and your family do look really familiar. I suspect we probably have run in to each other sometime. DH and I both work in retail. Hopefully I haven't seen you while you were doing your job. LOL

Just thought I would put my 2 cents worth in. Have really enjoyed seeing the variety of ships that you have been on. We have only travelled on Conquest class and the Dream. Question? Did you find the older ships more tired. I am not fussy about things being super posh, but a like nice fresh, clean hotel rooms etc., and would probably be disappointed if a ship I was on didn't feel this way. By the way, nice that this review is being done by a fellow New Brunswicker. Only been to Caraquet once, but really enjoyed it. We used to live in Dalhouse, but now in Woodstock.

Fantasitic Plan. DH and I are not sailing again for 2 years, so we have lots of time to work on this. We live in Canada so we have many miles to go before we can get to the ship. Now I am saving money for the trip, trying to add to my airmiles fund to pay for flights and need to keep track of the miles DH and I have run to get there by May 2008. So much to do and so little time.

Thankyou for an amazing review. Have to admit, I mostly looked at the pictures. One in particular stood out to me as something I must do some day. We have been kayaking in the Mangroves of the Bahamas, Zip Lining in Honduras, Cave Tubing in Belize. Someday I must Kayak the canals of Venice. That would be so cool.
