  1. We are coming to Honolulu in April, 2017, arriving 3 days before our cruise on POA. We had planned on using Robert's Shuttle to Pearl Harbor, but they have discontinued their shuttle to Pearl Harbor. I've looked at Reliable Shuttle and VIP Shuttle, both companies have mixed reviews, nothing as good as Robert's. Anyone have suggestions for these or another shuttle service. We will reserve our tickets when it is time and I would like someone we can depend on to get us there on time.

We used discoverhawaiitours.com for our Pearl Harbor Tour a few years ago, and they were wonderful!

  2. We are taking a Hawaii cruise in April, and one of our ports is Victoria, BC. We have two excursions in mind and I was wondering if anyone who has been on these excursions could shed some light on what the differences are in the two.

The excursions are - Scenic Victoria City Tour and O Canada! Victoria Highlights .

I'm wondering if they both go to the same scenic places or different ones, and which excursion would be the best to see Victoria.

  3. We are cruising to Hawaii in April. The cruise starts in Oahu and ends in Vancouver, BC. We have a stop in Victoria BC, and I have been looking at 2 excursions there. O Canada-Victoria Highlights and Scenic Victoria City Tour. Can anyone that has been on either of these excursions tell me exactly what spots they go to. I would like to know the difference in the two.

  4. No we aren't going to be renting a car. We are doing a day tour to Pearl Harbor and the rest of the time just relaxing. This is our 2nd time to Waikiki and we did pretty much all we wanted to do on the 1st trip. We will probably take a shuttle from the airport to our hotel. :)

  5. If you would like to do a tour the first day you board the ship, I highly recommend Discover Hawaii Tours or Roberts Hawaii Tours. We booked a few tours with both companies and they are great.

    :)

  6. I'm just wondering if anyone has taken the Adventure To Hana tour from the ship excursions.

I wanted to know if there were lots of stops along the way and if you thought it was worth the money.

Any information would be of great help!

  7. The last time we went to Oahu, we booked all of our tours with robertshawaii.com and discoverhawaiitours.com

They were both amazing companies to deal with. On time and the drivers were very knowledgeable. Check out the web pages. They have all kinds of tours to choose from.:)

  8. I was hoping that this was the way it worked. Thanks so much

pizzalady1 for your response. I see that you have done the Hawaii cruise before. Is there shopping right at the port in all the stops? Some of the excursions we have picked are only a few hours long and this is why I'm asking.

  9. I posted a question earlier today but now I can't find it.

We will be staying in Honolulu for a few days before our cruise.

And our ship is docked overnight in Honolulu.

We get on the ship on the first day, check in and put our things in our room. And then can we get off the ship again that same day?

We have only been on two cruises and neither one stayed in the same port overnight.

  10. The least expensive way is to walk with you luggage 3 blocks to Waterfront Station which is the red brick building you will see on your left as you exit Canada Place. Resist the temptation to take the entrance off the Howe St. ramp, walk up to Cordova St. turn left and go in the front door. What you are entering is the old CP Rail station. Once inside the building directions to the Canada Line is very clear. You will want the YVR/Airport train and the fare is $4 pp.

The most convenient way is by taxi and it will cost you approximately $35. There is be a cab line as you leave the passenger area and with 4 people and luggage you may have to wait an extra couple of minutes for a van cab, same $35.

Either way plan with lines your trip out to YVR will be 35/40 mins so you will be there in plenty of time for your flight.

Putterdude, I was told that the taxis charge a flat rate from YVR to hotels and the cruise port, but it was meter rates from Canada Place to YVR. I heard that it can get as high as $60. - $80. per cab ride. Is this true?

  11. What is the best and cheapest way for a party of 4 adults to get from Canada Place to YVR? We dock at 7am and our flight leaves at 1:15pm. We will be taking our luggage off ourselves, so we won't have to wait to pick it up.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me!

  12. Northern Aurora, we will be on the Infinity in May for the first time. Our cruise is to Alaska. We are not wine drinkers, and we have the Classic pkg. included with our trip. Does the Classic pkg. include all frozen drinks, and coffee with alcohol from Café El Bacio?

Also, do they have the drink of the day, each day, and is it in a souvenir glass?

We have booked a Concierge room, and we are not sure what to expect, but are very excited for our cruise!

  13. Thanks so much everyone for all your comments.

We are not wine drinkers and so I think we will try the classic pkg.

first and see how it goes. It sounds like most of the drinks we

would want are included in the Classic pkg.

We can always upgrade if we feel we need to.:)

  14. Can anyone tell me if at Café Al Bacio , International Cocktail coffee such as Aspen Coffee (with alcohol) is included in the classic package.

Also, are there any Martinis included in the classic package or do we need to upgrade for them? I thought I read somewhere that they have 2 sizes of Martinis, so I thought maybe the smaller one might be included.

  15. When we booked our Alaska cruise, we got an OBC as one of our perks. Can anyone tell me what happens to that credit if you don't spend it all? Do we get the remainder in cash, or do we lose what's left?
