Yes, there absolutely can be noise in some of the rooms.

Can of water in the Neptune? Or MDR?

We have stayed in the front SC Neptunes. Yes, motion, wind, and very small balcony. But the room is larger than the SA's. And the odd shape and layout is very nice.....

Just off the Zaandam and we were not able to have the sparkling wine changed for anything other than a bottle of water. We don't drink sparkling wine so we accepted. The Neptune Lunge concierge said it is at the discretion of the food and beverage manager on each ship.
Just odd. Never had a question about a swap. Including twice on the Zaandam in the past year.

The Neptune Suite on the Zaandam is very nice other than the bathroom. The bathroom is very much old school. Nice dressing area and a very large balcony that is deeper. You can get out of the sun and wind much easier! The main part of the Neptune Suite is the same size as the other ships---for all practicality. The Neptune Lounge is also very similar.....

Thanks for the write ups! An add on about Starlink. So we were on the Zaandam last year for the Panama Canal. Internet was horrible. So I prepared for our recent 28 day Amazon on the Z. Brought a AX router, external WIFI antenna, Network Analyzer program and ran tests. We were immediately across from the Neptune Lounge. We were able to get some "ok" speeds and connections. BUT, with the door open the connectivity and speed were 5x. The door is a real signal blocker. With the router and with the door closed we could stream from the balcony, basically at all times. Not that we needed to do that 😉 No, we did not have the volume on at all...just testing. In the room, never a problem.

Welcome, keep in mind that the wind can be a bigger problem than the temperature!

Just off the Zaandam. I was told, by some staff that they were going back to on board singers and dancers.... Yes I know this is very general but it was offical.....

The biggest reason that most people loved the Prinsendam is not because it was small. Rather, it was the most expensive cruise ship built at that time!

So when you purchase flowers are you allowed or should you keep the vase. Is it ours? It never occurred to us to take them ????
-
We have an earlier than normal flight out of FLL. Is pre-arranging an Uber a good idea? Is there a separate pickup area at the terminals for that vs a taxi line???
Thanks!

Not much at the port area per say, but we do rent cars or guides that are hundreds of dollars each time. Not every port, of course.

I surely do not want to seem rude or insult anyone, but folks we are talking about $1 a day here. Okay if there are two people in a stateroom it is $2 a day. Neither amount is going to make or break anyone with enough resources to take a cruise. I consider the situation similar to Port Charges. If they go up after booking one pays the additional cost and if they go down HAL refunds the difference. I'm certainly not going to spend my time, worth far more than $1 a day, worrying about this.
I agree with this, but for us it is $100.00---no big deal either. But when you are told one thing and then it is another.....

I can book the old rate for a Mid February 2024 trip....for what that is worth.

Your steak should have been sent back. They should have been good, period. We often get the Filet and it is usually very large and very good. Personally I have had a few hundred Filet's out at restaurants, lol.

It is rather disgusting that they use this for Neptune Suites, just saying.
