I wasn't a fan of the wonder and the 5 inch pool.

I was on a cruise about 6 years ago for Easter. There was nothing special that i remember. We brought a basket for our Son.

Do you pay gratuities on the full price of the drink pkg and then as you order drinks, do they add more gratuities to each drink which you would owe at the end of your trip?
1 payment. you don't pay tips after you pre pay for the package. you CAN give extra... but that's for above and beyond. you already paid 18%... when you got the package.

if everyone over 12 must be vaccinated to be on the cruise. why wear a band? i was on a Celebrity cruise in October. no bands required.

We cruise in a few weeks, and my wife sadly broke her finger playing softball. She now has a splint but will likely be in a cast down to her wrist by the time we cruise. Has anyone cruised in a hand cast that can comment on any specifics this may impact that I may not be thinking of? (other than me cutting all her food for her in the dining room LOL 🙂 )
My guess is the biggest impact is water activities...Not sure if she will be allowed to go in the pool/hot tubs? We have tickets to the waterpark at Coco. Will they even let her go down waterslides? She seems to think she will be ok to go on smaller ones.
Any advice is appreciated.
I broke my leg in hockey and used one of these for the shower. maybe the hand one will work for you.

That's pretty cool. Do you know of a map location or can you do a quick circle on a map for me.
Thanks.

Very frustrating, sorry this has happened. We have had different issues with the Photography policies and delivery in the past, though we almost always buy some of our photos (even when we vow not to, we just can’t resist). The policies and procedures are also not necessarily consistent across ships, either. We sailed Apex in September and Reflection in November and the package offerings were different (we could get a 10-digital image package on Apex, but not on Reflection- it was buying photos as singles or buy them all).
Due to these issues, I have always asked the photography manager for his/her direct email address so I can have a way to contact him/her post-cruise, in case I have any problems. In fact, I DID need to contact the Apex manager eight days after our cruise ended due to not receiving the link (he had told me it would be delivered in 4-7 days). He said he was really glad that I had asked for his email, because there HAD been a problem with delivery…and he was able to get it sorted out. Within an hour after my email, I had the link I requested.
I also asked for the Reflection photography manager’s email in November, but interestingly- he told me to expect to wait 2 weeks for my e-mail delivery. I didn’t need to contact him after all; my link arrived on November 24 (we disembarked Nov 13, so it took 11 days).
if you think it would help your trouble-shooting, I would be glad to share these two photography manager emails. I know you were on a different ship than I was, but the managers may network together and may know the manager’s email for the Edge. Just email me and I can send them to you.

Hope it gets resolved soon! 👍🏻 Sharon
Thanks for the input. and i'll hold off on the email address right now. I really light some fires yesterday. I really laid into them and they are actually giving me follow up. They claim as of now they are dealing with the photo manager for celebrity and also the ship to solve the "problem" but they arne't saying the problem.
originally they kept saying the ship is having trouble uploading the photos

Update: a couple more calls to celebrity. still no update. and until yesterday when i really unloaded on them, i didn't get a single update unless i called back.
It's now been almost 30 days since i've been home from my cruise. 5 phone calls to X. They called me back 1 time and emailed me Once. (Both in the last 24 hours)

here's a question for conodor---was the package you reserved for one person? if it was, how many people were allowed in the photo?
When you get the package, it's for all the people in the stateroom(at it was for me and my wife) They say facial recognition is used so all photos will show up in your room folder. But there wasn't a single photographer on the ship that i saw besides by the steps close to the martini bar(Edge). And every time they took our pictures, they asked for our room number.
Just make sure you stop in the photo center, swipe your room key. and put in your email address. I'd assume that's who they send you the photo link... but as i stated above. I haven't received the link, it's been a month and i've called 3 times already. I'll be calling back tomorrow for the 4th time.

Has anyone got the unlimited digital photo package lately?
I was on the celebrity Edge October 23rd sail date. I got the package. first off it was disappointing. there was 1 location on the entire ship to get your photos taken. sometimes they had a green screen, a person taking shots by the rail. and a 3rd person taking them by the steps. People were nice. but there were there just on and off. Not 1 person taking photos around the ship. no photos being taken when you got off on the ports. Hopefully when ships get back to 100% capacity and covid is behind us, there is more photos options.
Anyway, the major problem... I still haven't received my link to my photos. Tomorrow makes a month. I've called a couple times. getting very little help from celebrity. I was assured that i was getting a follow up in the next couple days... this time i called.
If you got the package, have you got your link yet?
Thanks!

I also got off the edge yesterday. we had a large group. we typically took 2 tables. Besides the buffet a couple of times. no one ever sat at a table next to us in any dinning room. we ate in all 4 main dining rooms and the Eden. If you are worried about keeping space from others, it's very possible right now. if you are really worried... wear a mask as often as you want. some did. and if you are really... really worried just stay home until you feel comfortable. no point ruining your trip from being worried.

It takes about 2 weeks to get the link of your photos? is this true?

Thanks for the last minute help! Megens bay was great for the chair. A ramp right to the Beach. Sand was firm enough to drive over to a table with some shade. My father loved it. No shopping. But our buss driver dropped us off downtown for some shopping. Good enough to please everyone

Nothing like last minute... We are docking in a couple hours at Charlotte Amalie. The plans i had fell apart. So now i'm scrambling. biggest thing, my father is in a portable electric wheelchair. We discussed Megens bay, but it looks like there's limited or no shopping.
Can anyone give a suggestion for a beach with shopping, similar to St Marteen? or should i just hit Megen's bay. then have our (just the 13 of us) shuttle stop someplace elese on the way back to the ship?
Thanks all!

I am on Edge now only 900 ship feels empty but we love it. Had a sky suite 10162 and booked it again for another cruise. We ate in Raw on 5 and Eden loved them both. Also Luminae was good. No complaints on this cruise! Only a few kids on board. No lines because so few people here.
With the lower capacity, do you notice things closed, just due to not enough people so why open everything? I board in 2 days.. save some cerveza for me!
-
George, i hope you had a great trip. I'll be boarding this Saturday. Someone asked me a thermal suite question i had trouble answering yesterday. Due to covid do they have limited numbers of people that can use the rooms. and is there a time you have to sign up for?
i said pre vid, if it was open, you could go in. not sure about now.

Apparently Royal Caribbean has allowed passengers to get off in Nassau, Celebrity is not. That was the case for my cruise last month. Don't know if changes have been made. I"m sure this had something to due with Bahamian Government, not Celebrity.
I want to agree with you but other cruiselines. including Celebrity's sister company(owning company) is allowing cruisers off the ship. Just doesn't make sense why the Government would pick just 1 cruiseline. Something just smells fishy.

If you follow either the Royal Caribbean or Celebrity pages on FB, you get totally contradicting answers on both sites.
Sounds like royal you can get off and do your own thing. X you can not. but 10 mintutes later someone posts the oposite

Thanks all. My first run at Aqua class is in 2 weeks. I usually use concierge class and just get the Persian garden added. I wanted to change things up. then decide what I liked better. So i've never been to the Blu.

What if you are with another couple that didn't get aquaclass. Can you bring a "guest" for lunch?
-
Can someone give me the email address these offers come from, maybe a title of the email also? i get 20 emails from X a day. I neve see a captain club offer. Thanks!
Why do i get 20? because over the years of cruising i put my email address for my kids, my Grandmother(i always take with us) and myself. It's a total joke how many messages i get.haha

I'll be there in 2 weeks. Did it seem like a lot of people just stayed on the ship? I'm in a group of 50 going to Labadie, and I'm getting a lot of questions and concerns. Thanks!
