Thank you.  I see that now.  I was a little surprised that the tags did not include our names.  Now I know that I was getting the correct tags.

One more thing. i think your original question was do you have to print everything.  FYI:  if you want to print 1 page of a document.  there should be a setting when you go to print  it will say someting like pages "1-15"   if the tags were on page 11.  change that over to 11

that will only print that 1 page of the doc.  like a lot of my E doc. i won't print all the pages. just the ones i want.

Just went and looked at what i downloaded. and my doesn't have a name either. Guess i didn't notice.  You have to write it on top.

Does the printing of the luggage tags mean printing out the tags on page 28 of the edocs?

My cabin has changed, so I will need to print updated tags, this is what I saw when I click the Print luggage tag link.

    Thanks

When i'm online, when i click view boarding pass it has "view luggage tags"  and just that page comes up. i can print just them there.

It was easy peasy! Hubby and I did ours at the same time, make sure to donwload the Navica app. You call in from your phone, its not a Dr, its a live person though. It truly was very easy. Since its using the phone, not data, there should be no glitch's.

I want to just confirm. more than 1 person was able to do the test at the exact same time?  So you had 1 video chat and both you and your husband were able to get it done in 1 shot deal?

    Thanks!

  5. One thing X stopped doing. Taking towels off pool loungers.  just 6 years ago they would walk around and take the unattended towels off, i think it was ever 30 minutes. Our last couple cruises(pre Vid)  3/4 of the chairs had towels with no one in site.

    1) Took a vid of the Kate’s announcement; ignore the video unless you want to see a porthole room (lol); made it for the audio

    2) Missed the beginning of the announcement

Off topic, sorry i couldn't send you a PM, it's disabled.  Can you hear the morning announcements in the room?  Unless i'm missing something. i have to open the door to our room to hear the 10am announcements every morning if i'm in the room.

  7. I don't agree how the OP handled herself. Running and whining minutes after her window to board had passed.

BUT, if the cruise sets up your flight and your transfer to the ship. I feel it is their responsibility to give you a boarding time that is reasonable to when their shuttle will drop me off at the port.   If their shuttle drops me off at 11am. but my boarding time isn't until 2pm. I have no options but to sit around and stew.(not the OP's case, just an example)

  8. Thanks for the input.  just to clairfy,   when you say she uses a scooter do you mean one we would rent for the cruise only. they are pretty narrow.  We typically rent a scooter, and a manual wheelchair.  I'm a pretty big guy so pushing him isn't the issue, it's trying to find a place i can get some "pushable" surfaces i guess.

  9. When we went there the only time,  it's almost pushy how much the workers tell you that you should get off the ship.  The reason why, is most of the workers get the time off,  or they are working on the island.  It might be quiet on the ship, but the services might also be limited.

  10. I've been to SJ a couple times,  this spring i will be with my father that is in a wheel chair.  If i remember correctly, there wasn't much other than very close to the cruise port that i could go with my father.  Maybe hit a close bar or 2. There was a couple stores right there.  I figure we will leave the scooter on the ship, and use a manual one.

Anyone out there have some experience getting around SJ with a wheel chair?  I'm not worried about hills or pushing him, i'm more worried about narrow or giant holes in the sidewalks.  I think after the main street most of the side walks were extremely narrow.

  11. Not sure why this old thread got dug up, but i'll give my opinion. We stayed here march 2016. It's good enough to stay in, but do expect anything super fancy.

If you look at the things that the room comes with, Free shuttle, Free breakfast. It seems like a decent deal. The were very out dated, the rooms weren't the cleanest. But it was a cheap place to stay.

Just be warned with the free shuttle, you get what you pay for. We waited far to long to get picked up from the airport. then you have to schedule a ride to the cruise port.
